to make a long story short, sebb's mother didn't visit or call anymore and that was that. but where this part takes place is many years later. it was christmas time and normally sebb would be in the holiday spirit but monty was sick.

a few weeks ago, he was diagnosed with cancer. he was put on bedrest and honestly the idea of it was terrible for both of their mental healths. two days before christmas day, monty requested something.

"you know...you know how i'm gonna die?"

"shit, don't say stuff like that! i'm serious!"

"yeah, well it's true. i wanna do something."

"anything."

"i want the kids to come over for christmas dinner. tell them that i might not make it after dinner."

"are you sure this is what you want?"

"yeah, yeah, i'm sure."

sebb nodded and left the bedroom. he didn't know how he was gonna get in touch with them but he knew what he had to do.

payton left at 16, earlier than anyone in his family. he wasn't in any real relationships but he did work as an escort for some rich twenty-year-olds. he only left because school wasn't for him and his parents thought he should pull through.

damiar left at 18. he didn't leave with any goals in mind but he finished college in premed and went to law school. before he left, he was diagnosed with homicidal tendencies. without his parents, he was free to kill as he pleased, especially with the law on his side. body count of eight. one woman and seven men.

noen left at 19, he arguably had the best relationship with his parents out of the boys. he's a successful model with a fiancée and a six year old (imagine this makes sense) son. in addition to them, he also has two cats that he loves more than life itself.

xowie left at 18, with the best parent relationship, hands down. but like her brothers, they lost communication over the years. she owns a flower shop and has a cottage with her soft aesthetic girlfriend.

chase left at 17 with the worst relationship ever. he moved many miles away, only to become a stoner. so, no job, no wife but he did have two daughters, carter and annie.

first, sebb found xowie. it wasn't much  of a challenge. he looked up xowie and beth's flowers and that came up. so, he drove roughly twenty miles to their shop. when sebb walked in a young woman with blond hair and a rainbow sweater smiled at him.

"hello, sir. can i help you with anything?"

"yes, you might be able to. is xowie here?"

"who's asking?", the woman immediately got very defensive.

"oh, sorry. i'm her father."

"she's in the back. xow! there's someone out here for you!"

xowie came from the back with daisies in her left and roses in her right but she dropped them to give her father a huge hug.

"daddy, i'm so so glad to see you! what are you doing all the way out here?"

"so now i need a reason to see my baby girl?", sebb asked jokingly.
