I followed him but each step was a distraction. The garden was amazing and it held such beauty, I just wish I could take my glasses of and see the beauty at full force. The woods also surrounded the garden, making the garden look even more extrodinary. The beauty seemed to stretch on forever.

"Mesmerizing huh."

"Huh?" I said stuppidly and regretting It immediatly.

He laughed a beautiful laugh. Which surprisingly annoyed me. How can someone seem...so... perfect.

He stopped and walked towards a branch and lifted it up for me. I gasped In fake shock "so you can be a gentleman!" I smirked and ducked under.

"Haha! Very funny"

I stopped and turned, I looked around in confusion.

"Don't worry this is my shortcut"

He walked passed me and I hesitated. I don't know if I should trust him? But like an idiot I followed him anyways.

"Don't worry you can trust me."

Yeah right.

"No I'm serious you can"

Did he just read my mind. I shook my head... nah.

He laughed "No I can't read minds"

My head snapped up at him. How'd he....

"Its written on your face." He said

I shyly yet quickly looked away.

We were quiet for a while and it felt like this walk seemed to take forever. I even assumed we were lost or something.

He spoke then "look imma just cut to the chase."

I shrugged as if to say "okaayyy..."
"Listen..." he sighed then sped up to stop in front of me, he faced me and spoke, all foolishness gone from his face. "Xea, you're in danger and I advise you to not take the same path home"

I stared at him and all I could think to say was "h-how'd you know my name."

He stepped closer and I backed up. He pulled my chin up and spoke "look I know you Xea, so listen"

"Y-you know nothing about me" I stuttered as fear took over my body. Who is this guy?

"Yes Xea, I do." He leaned closer, so close I could feel his breath on my lips. "I know you wear those glasses to secure your power, I know who your father is, and I know more than you know yourself."

I backed up more and he dropped his hand. I looked behind him then back at his face. I breathed in and bolted, I dropped my umbrella but kept running through the rain.

"Xea..! Wait!" I heard him shout. I kept running until I couldn't run anymore.

My lungs were burning and as I gasped for air I looked around. I didn't see or hear him, so I assumed I was safe. I looked around lost but kept walking. I eventually saw a breakthrough in the forest and I bolted towards it. I saw a sign that said ASHBURN ST. I saw another sign below but it pointed at an angle that I couldn't see.

Next thing I knew... I was home. I walked in and saw my mom on the couch.

"Darling! What happened? Why are you all wet? And why home so late?"

In a daze I told her without giving much detail. "Bus was late, fell asleep, wrong turn, lost umbrella and ran here."

"Oh honey are you alright?"

I snapped out of it and blinked, I smiled a reassuring smile. "I'm just wet and cold, so imma just run and take a shower and do my homework." (Okay, I lied about the homework thing but i needed sometime to think) Mom nodded and I walked up the stairs.

I got out from a steamy shower, put a big shirt on, went to my bed and passed out from pure exhaustion.

I hope this got your attention :) I think I liked this one better than the last one. ;)
