The ball came towards me and then stopped right in front of my hand, it was still spiraling but frozen in mid air.
"Third shift!" I said in a cold, hard voice that I didn't recognize. My hair flew up around me and that ring of light spiraled around me and Quency.
I closed my eyes and breathed deeply in. I opened them and the ball had contained not only that girls power but me and Quency's.
I didn't hesitate when I had released it.
The girls eyes widened in fear, as the ball blasted toward her with such speed, that I hadn't realized that someone had quickly jumped out and saved her.
The light dimmed and when it disappeared, I was hit in the back of my head.
Before everything dimmed and went black I heard someones deep voice.
"Master wants the both of you!" He yelled. "I'm pretty sure he wouldn't like what you've done here..." he paused to step closer to them. I could only see the back of his head as he spoke "...or what y'all clearly tried to do."
"I could have taken her" the girl pouted as she put a hand on her hip "I could have gotten out of there easily!"
The guy shook his head. "No Cherry....You would have been dead."
After that everything went black.
