Eleanora 'Nova' Scott was a lovely soul. With dark brown hair that reached just around her shoulders and lovely brown eyes to go with it, turning heads as she walked down streets. Born in the 1930's, she was turned into a vampire in the 1950's at the age of 22. Though many turned into monsters following turning, Nora never felt more alive. something in her loved the life vampirism gave her.
Nora loved life and to have an eternity of it was a gift to her. She was blessed with impeccable control of her bloodlust. When partying in the early 1970's, Nora runs into a vampire by the name of Lexi. The two became friends nonetheless. They stayed in touch when Lexi had to help an old friend.
One night, Nora is in a bar in the late 1970's dancing the night away. Her lively and carefree personality catches the eye of a certain blue eyes vampire. Damon Salvatore becomes infatuated with Nora and her love for life. The lovers spent their days enjoying the others company and in general, just having fun. Damon had never met someone as charasmatic as Nora before, that being one of the things that drew him to her.
After a few years, Damon is forced to go find his brother after he begins another ripper stage. Nora ways for Damon to contact her. When Damon returns, he is heart broken when he finds that Nora is no longer in their apartment. His broken heart forces him to flip his switch.
Years later, Nora finds herself in Mystic Falls after receiving a call from a girl by the name of Elena Gilbert. Elena explains to her that she saw Nora's name In side of Stefans diary and that Stefan had been forced to leave the town with the newly turned hybrid by the name of Klaus Mikaelson and that she needed help tracking down Stefan. Nora comes rushing to Mystic Falls, not prepared to run into her old love.
Seeing Damon Salvatore again ignoted something within Nora, sending her back to the night she saw him, Play That Funky Music playing in the background.
