   1976

Eleanora spent her life laughing, smiling, and living life to the fullest. It was very often she'd get asked why she smiled on a rainy day and she simply would answer with how a rainbow will reveal itself afterwards. Now that she was a Vampire she was shown this whole new side of life and she enjoyed it. Yes a Vampire, the blood sucking creatures. Luckily, for Nora, she had an amazing amount of control to her bloodlust which evidently made vampirism that much better for her.

She had been strolling down the streets of  Bisbee, Arizona trying to find a bar. This was something she did in every state. She'd find a nice local bar, dance, party, and most importantly feed. She had only killed two or three people when she first turned, but eventually learned she didn't need to kill someone to feed. She turned a corner and smiled when she found what she was looking for. She skipped over, reading the name of the bar and shrugged, "St, Elmo's Bar. Seems promising."

She walked in seeing hot and sweaty bodies rub against each other and she immediately blended in. It didn't take long for her to find someone to dance with as she smiled and giggled, waving her arms around. "I love the 70's!" She through her head back as the male spun her to the side. An hour or so had passed and she already had one to many drinks, well for a human. That was one of Nora's favorite perks. Vampires have a high tolerance for alcohol which meant she could party all night.

She was in the middle of compelling the Bar tender for some shots when she over heard the music playing, 'But I'll never lose that feeling, no I won't' She smiled even wider before climbing on the chair, and standing on the Bar table. "This song is my jam!" She moved her body loosely to the beat while singing the lyrics of Play That Funky Music. The people started following her and eventually started dancing where she was. She turned her head to see a man with raven hair staring at her.

She winked at him before taking another shot. When she looked back at the same spot, he was gone. This time she spotted a man drugging a girls drink. She shook her head and walked towards him with a smile. Nora played it off and started dancing with the girl, trying to get her drink and she succeeded. Next, she started dancing with the man. She put both her arms around his neck with a smile, making intense eye contact. She compelled him to follow her as she made her way out to the back of the bar.

The man stood there against the brick wall as she compelled him once again, "Don't scream or move." She felt the veins under her eyes grow along with her fangs before feeding through his wrist. Not long after she heard clapping and looked up. She saw the raven haired boy from before, she instantly smeared any blood of her face. "So you're a good vampire? You kill the bad guys." She shook her head with a smile, "I don't kill them, I only feed off them. Care to have a drink?" She smiled tilting the mans head, exposing his neck. "I never thought you asked." He zoomed over to the two, ready to have a snack.

"Slow your role cowboy! I'll only share if you promise not to kill him." Nora put a hand on his chest, taking in the muscle silently. "Pinky. My names Damon by the way." Damon winked  causing a small small to form on Nora's face. "Well Damon, bone apple teeth."

1979

Nora and Damon where inseparable. They had spent the last three years together and they fell in love. This was the happiest Damon had ever felt. He felt safe, accepted, and loved when he was with Nora. He truly felt that she was his person and he was hers. They created a tradition of playing Play That Funky Music almost every night, due to the fact that was the first time they saw each other.

Damon had his arms wrapped around Nora's chest from behind her. She rested her head on him with her hands on his forearms as she lead them both into the Bar that had different color light shinning through it. Damon kissed her temple before standing to her side. They didn't waste another moment to go and dance with each other.

Nora noticed a girl staring at Damon before smirking and bring him into a kiss, their bodies close together and moving in sync. Damons hands where on Nora's cheek and neck. "I will never get used to jealous Nora." Damon pulled away keeping his forehead on hers, poking her nose. "Haha, very funny." She sailed at him, gave him a quick kiss. "I love you." Nora whispered loud enough for him to hear. "Don't you forget it."

Nora rolled her eyes at her self indulged boyfriend before walking off to get shots, dancing her way through the crowd.  Most people knew who Damon and Nora where considering they went to the same bar every night for the last three years. She was making conversation with Frank the bar tender who was in his forty's as he prepared her drinks before a girl tapped Nora's shoulder.

"Hi, Nora. Damon told me to tell you that he has to leave to help his brother, but he'll be back soon and that he loves you." Nora scoffed. "Are you kidding me?" She looked around for Damon not understanding he didn't tell her himself and sent this girl instead.

So she waited for him. Waited so long that she grew inpatient and left. Hell, she was Eleanora fucking Scott. She decided she wasn't going to keep moping around in an empty apartment that reminded her of Damon. She was left wondering if his brother was an excuse to leaving her with zero explanation, but nonetheless she continued her travel and avoided the name Damon every where she went.

Well, that was until she got a very interesting call that concerned one of the two Salvatore brothers.
