2010NORA CONTINUED her tradition of finding bars and living life to its absolute fullest for the last 21 years she was with out Damon. She continued to play their song at the bars, just not as frequently. She didn't hate him after all, hell she was still in love with him. She was currently in Maryland finding a new club before she got a call from an unknown number. She shrugged before answering, "Eleanora Scott on the phone." She munched on her fries as the phone was pressed against her ear with her shoulder.
"Hi, my names Elena Gilbert. This might sound crazy, but do you know Stefan Salvatore?" Nora paused, looking around with wide eyes. The last time she heard Stefan Salvatore was back when she was helping him turn on his humanity switch with her friend Lexi. "Is he alright?" She asked almost immediately, fully interested. "Well Stefan turned his humanity off to help this other vampire, Klaus, and we need help-"
"Where are you?" Nora asked throwing her fries away with a second thought. "Mystic Falls, Virginia."
"Good think I'm a town over." She silently thanked whatever higher power there was, hanging up the phone, speeding towards Mystic Falls. Within two hours Nora was in Virginia and it didn't take her long to find out the residence of the Salvatore brothers hence the name 'Salvatore boarding house'. She walked up the steps before hearing a feminine voice. "Who are you?" Nora turned her head to see a brunette girl with a red shirt.
"Nora." She gave a cheery smile sticking her hand out. "Eleanora Scott? I'm Elena Gilbert." Elena shook her hand, returning the smile. "So we have a lot to talk about." Elena walked up to the door opening the building, "Come in."
Nora stepped into the house, admiring it's looks. Not once had Damon mention the building to her. That when she realized, Damon had to be here. She felt nervous thinking of if she was going to see her lost love before following Elena into the house. "So I was thinking maybe you could stay with me if you'd like until we found Ste-"
"Mornin'." Nora turned her head to see Damon Salvatore standing in front of her and Elena. Naked. "I see somethings haven't changed." Nora looked up at the ceiling with a smile. She would have blushed if she where still human. Elena gasped throwing him a red towel as she turned around. "Nora?" Damons facial expressions changed immediately as he watched the love of his life in all her beauty. He felt waves of relief, knowing she was alive, and then hurt for how she left him.
"You two know each other?" Elena asked as she uncovered her eyes from the scene.
"Past lovers."
"Lovers."
Nora shot him a sarcastic smile as he claimed they where still together. "Sheriff Forbes gave us another location to check." Elena unfolded a piece of paper. "Memphis."
"Another dead end you mean?" Damon raised his brows, holding onto the towel. "You don't know that." Elena defended as she rolled her eyes. Nora stared at Damon silently, taking in his half naked body as she remembered there time together. "You're right Elena. This could be the one. After two months, this could be the clue that tells us Stefan's alive, well, and living in Graceland." Damon stood close to Elena causing the burning sensation inside of Nora. One she remembered to well. Jealousy.
"Fine. Nora and I will go by ourselves." Elena grabbed onto Nora's hand and started pulling her away before stepping between the two girls. "Actually Nora and I have a few things to talk about." Damon stood close to Nora with a small glare. It took everything in Nora not to kiss him and then hit him for leaving her at the bar and never contacted her. "Then you'll let Klaus know that you're tracking him? He thinks you're dead. Let's keep it that way." Damon snatched the piece of paper from Elena.
"It's a new lead Damon. We haven't had one in a while." Nora heard Elena's distress in her sigh making her frown. "Okay. I'll check it out. If I find anything, I'll call you." Damon said before walking off. "He's changed." Nora shrugged before forcing a smile on her face. "I'm sorry. If I knew you and Damon had history I wouldn't have involved you." Elena had regret written all over her face. "Elena, Stefan is important right now. I'm here for him." Nora sent her a reassuring smile. "Which is why is why I'm going with Damon to find him."
Elena bid her goodbyes as Nora poured herself a drink with a smile before a short haired lady walked down the stairs. "Who are you?" Nora asked with a smile as she watched her fix the scarf on her shoulders. "My names Andie. I'm Damons girlfriend." Nora felt her heart drop. "Oh, that's nice. I love your scarf by the way." Nora faked a smile as Andie left. Nora hit her forehead with her hand. She felt foolish to think Damon would actually still have feelings for her. He did leave her after all.
She pushed the feeling down as she could hear Damon coming down the steps. "Your girlfriend is nice. Pretty." Nora smiled at him as she fiddled with the hem of her tight plain shirt. Damon mentally slapped himself in the face as he stared at the brunette. "Yeah. She's nice." Damon said pouring himself a drink.
"Damon." Damons heart pounded as he heard her say his name for the first time in 21 years. "When are we going to go find Stefan. I'm quite bored already." Damon smiled as she lied down on the couch. "You where never patient." Damon scoffed walking out the house and just like years before, she followed.
Hours had passed and Nora made friends with Alaric. He was older than both Damon and Nora in human years and was very handsome in Nora's eyes, but not as handsome as Damon. No one was as handsome as him. "We're here." Alaric parked in front of a huge, white house. Damons phone began to ring as he stared at the building. "Elena?" Damon nodded at Alaric.
"I don't know why you just don't come clean and tell her where we are." Alaric suggested as the walked closer to the house. "Cause Andie said this was a half-lead and I don't want to get her hopes up." Damon smiled sarcastically at Alaric. "Yeah well they're all half-leads. And I'm your accomplice. What do you want me to say to her? I'm practically living there." Alaric sounded distress. He basically ended up ranting to Nora about his problems. This didn't come to a shock for Damon. It was one of the things he loved about her. She was a people person and she loved helping people. "Still sleeping on the couch?" Damon asked looking around for any danger.
"I keep waiting for them to kick me out, but they don't. I don't know why. It's not like I'm helping or anything."
"Ric, from what you told me, you're the closest thing to an adult they have right now. Now, what are you waiting for slow pokes." Nora patted Ric's shoulder before skipping into the house with out a worry in the world. Damon watched as the girl walked up the steps of the house. She put her back against the side of the door, using her fingers to form a fake gun. Damon and Alaric watched as the lively girl joked around in such a serious moment.
Flashbacks of Damons time in Arizona flooded his mind. He let out a small smile at the memory. Damon slowly opened the door revealing a huge mess in the house. "Someone's not tidy." Nora suppressed her lips into a thin line, watching her step. She walked close behind Damon observing the blood splattered on the walls. Damon stopped at a room where two girls sat drenched in blood. "Vampire for sure." Alaric scrunched his nose at the smell.
"Oh Stefanie, you are in trouble." Nora muttered her brows as Damon walked towards the bodies. "It's Stefan for sure." Damon claimed looking around for any sign of danger. "How do you know?"
"It's his signature. There is a reason they called him The Ripper. He feeds so hard he blacks out, rips them apart, but then when he's done, he feels remorse. It's the damnest thing." Damon nudged the blond with his foot, causing her head to fall off. "He puts the bodies back together."
"I do not miss that." Nora scrunched her face as the head fell to the ground. " Definitely Stefan." Damon stared at the head on the ground, biting his lip. Damon didn't wast a second to grab gasoline and pour it all on the bodies before Alaric stopped him. The two boys picked up the rug to find a secret door in the floor. "Very Anne Frank." Nora shrugged with a smile.
They opened the floor revealing chains causing Nora to widen her eyes. "Or very kinky." Damon shot her a look. "Werewolves." Damon claimed before setting the place on fire. "Or that too."
