Valeria

"We have arrived in Santorini, Greece Ms. Patterson." My flight attendant shook me out of my diligent work on my laptop.

I looked up and smiled politely. "Thank you...make sure my bags are delivered at my villa by the end of the day, Rosalina." She nodded and quickly left me to gather my things. I shoved my laptop into its respective case, then grabbed my hand held duffel bag before I stepped out out of my private jet into the windy, sweet, salt-filled air of Greece. My driver was waiting to take me to my villa, but unexpectedly Nicolas Roselli was there perched on the car with his sunglasses high on his head; he smiled when I walked towards him.

"Nicolas." I greeted him.

He lifted himself off the car and took my hand while placing a soft kiss on it. "Valeria." He greeted me warmly.

I still didn't know why he preferred a kiss on the hand or face when I could receive a handshake like any other regular person. He was just a weird character...or maybe he was trying to get in my pants. Either way both of the two possibilities were repelling me. I've been doing some of my research on this guy and he was known for his playboy like abilities in the social world; that and he had a thing for blondes and red-heads since they were the only type of people he seemed to date publicly.

"Welcome to Greece, I am most happy to see you have arrived safely." He welcomed me.

I nodded and focused my gaze elsewhere. "May I ask why you are by my private jet?" I asked him.

He smirked revealing a set of perfectly white and straight teeth, "I came to greet you, since you are my very special guest." He informed me. I furrowed my brow wondering how I was his only special guest; I knew there were multiple people in on this investment besides me. Why was I getting the VIP treatment?

"There are other people on the investment board." I reminded him.

He nodded, "Yes...but you are the newest one to the team, no?" He chuckled softly.

His Italian accent reminded me heavily of Victor right now, and I wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad thing. Taking at this moment Victor and I were no longer together for the 20th time since we've first met and began to date; I'm going to say its a bad thing. Not that Victor Mosello was a bad person, he was actually sweet, kind, and intelligent...but he was also possessive and demanding. We started out as good friends and confidants then it led to something more, but Victor and I spent more time fighting and breaking up than we did being in an actual relationship. I enjoyed kissing him...he was an amazing kisser but later into our dating he wanted "more" and I wasn't ready to give that to him so it was just a cycle of frustration and impatience. I grew tired of it so I just ended it, hoping now it was for good rather than temporary. The cool thing about Victor and I is that we at least manage to stay friends even after our breakups which was a rare trait that you didn't find in everybody.

"Well thank you for the welcome, I will be heading to my villa now." I said making a motion to head for the car. He stopped me, by pulling my duffel bag and other carry-ons off of me and giving them to the driver who put them into the trunk of the Mercedes. Nicolas then took it upon himself to open the door for me to slide into which I did hoping he would go away after that gesture, but he just hopped in himself and closed the door behind him.

A deep scowl grew on my face. I just wanted to spend my first day in Greece relaxing and laying on the couch so I can regather all my thoughts before getting straight to work the next day. Was Nicolas seriously trying to hinder my moment right now? How did he even know when my flight was coming in to begin with?

"Ah, Valeria do not look at me like that....I personally want to get to know you better, outside of the business world. I thought maybe I could take you around to see the sights of Greece on our free time." He suggested.
