I spent the rest of my time in my hometown in my house drinking and what not just avoiding all human contact. When I woke up the morning after I had fallen asleep on my couch there was a blanket on me, and I didn't remember getting up and putting a blanket on myself, all I knew is that it was just there. I must have been drunk out of my mind because I couldn't remember anything from those two days.
I guess it was all the stress finally coming and catching up to me because my initial plan was to come to Boston to check on one of my "thriving" businesses and it just sent my whole entire mood south. I come into the office expecting diligent workers but they were all fucking around laughing, talking, eating, having a field day when they were supposed to be working to make this company successful.
This is what I get for putting all their reports for the last minute because I trusted they were doing the right thing.
But boy was I wrong these days.
They were all super surprised to see me walk through the elevators and I bet they were also surprised when I started firing people left and right including the president and VP that I put in the trust of this company. I was so flipping mad that day that I stayed in the office buried in work trying to figure out how to replenish a 20 million dollar deficit, it was pitiful, but I called up Cara and she helped me out with the situation being the human calculator she is.
One of the women from the accounting and finance department had kept track of all the transactions and the things these people were spending the company's money on and how she advised them that it was wrong and what not and since I was in desperate need of someone to watch this place while I was gone she was promoted to President and then I got another trustworthy woman to be the VP; after that, I remained there for 3 more days as I searched for replacements for the vacancies in the office, hopefully, the people I didn't fire got a wake-up call and reminder that if I surprised walked on them fucking around again there would be hell to pay.
Anyway, now that the situation had been taken care of it was time to go home, I had been skyping with Mila and I could tell she missed me dearly so I had to go. I hated leaving my normal traditional Massachusetts home after not being able to be here for so long, but I had to do what I had to do.
I quickly got myself fixed up in some dark blue jeans a Versace shirt and over it I wore a Lanvin leather jacket, on my feet I wore knee-high Christian Louboutin boots. I had my hair tied up in a ponytail and after I grabbed something light to eat I grabbed my Louis Vuitton bag and got into my Range Rover heading straight for New York.
It was a long 3 hour drive but I stuck it through, I didn't want anyone driving me or having to fly by plane because I just wanted to be alone and think for myself.
Somewhere along the drive the sky started to get really dark and not even 5 minutes later it was raining cats and dogs; literally the visibility went from 100 to 0 too quick. Either way I was almost home and called my aunt telling her I was going to be on my way and it was just going to be another 30 minutes since things were a little backed up here.
As I drove casually, my eyes trailed onto another car that seemed to be having some difficulty on the road swerving left and right in an unsteady pattern. I watched it for about half a mile before I honked at it to see if the person was okay or if they were just drunk; when they continued the unusual pattern I immediately began using my car phone to call the police so I could report it.
"911 what is your emergency?" The operator spoke.
"Yeah..." My eyes narrowed when I saw the car picking up speed and then stopping suddenly which caused me to hit the breaks.
