Suddenly, a loudspeaker boomed and a video of chancellor Kane came on.
“Prisoners of the Ark, here me now. You’ve been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but as a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would send others. Frankly, we’re sending you because your crimes have made them expendable. Those crimes will be forgiven, those records wiped clean. The drop site has been chosen carefully. Before the last war, Mount Weather was a military base built within a mountain. It was to be stocked with enough non-perishables to sustain three hundred people for up to two years. MountWeather is life. You must locate those supplies immediately. Your one responsibility is too stay alive.” As if all planned, the loudspeaker stopped and the screens went black. The ship slowed down, but the turbulence became violent and dangerous.
“The parachutes deployed!” Wells stated, as if I asked him. At this time, everyone was freaking out. Screams were let out throughout the room and conversation about surviving got louder and louder.
“Everyone, just stay calm! We will all be fine!” Unexpectantly, the two boys that followed Finn out of their seats, which were floating around, smashed into the wall as the ship thrust to one side. The two boys fell unconscious, and the shaking got more violent by the second. I laid my head back on the headrest and prayed that all of this was just a dream. Suddenly, everything stopped. The shaking stopped, the screaming stopped, the conversation stopped. The seatbelts that we were all strapped to clicked open. I ran to the two boys who now lay motionless on the floor.
“Finn, are they breathing?” Finn did not reply, and instead his breathing got heavier and his eyes wandered up and down the bodies of the boys. I let out a loud puff and slouched down to the floor.
“Finn, what have you done?” He didn’t reply, but instead a boy yelled out.
“The outer door is on the lower level. Let’s go!” Everyone filed out of the room in a panic.
“No! Stop! We can’t just open the doors!” I don’t know how, but I managed to push past everyone. As I was climbing down the stairs, I heard a strong, boy voice that was directing everyone.
“Just back it up, everyone.” The boy with the voice was tall, handsome, and had brown hair and brown eyes.
“No! Stop, the air could be toxic!” I yelled, pushing multiple teenagers out of the way. All conversation stopped. Everyone stared at us with an eager expression as if saying, well what next?
“If the air is toxic we’re all dead in a minute, anyways.” There was no convincing this guy, was there? I rolled my eyes and sighed. He held up his hand to pull the lever out and open the door, when a faint voice was heard.
“Bellamy?” The boy, I’m guessing his name is Bellamy, rests his hand on the knob for a second before turning around. A skinny, short girl with blueish-greenish eyes and brown hair comes running, pushing people out of the way. She ran into Bellamy’s arms. He hugs her tied, and they don’t let go for a while. Meanwhile, everyone else was pretty confused at what was happening. Well handsome has a girlfriend, I thought. When they finally let go, Bellamy utters something so quietly, I could barely hear myself even though I was standing only a few feet away from them.
“Octavia,” He looks at her in amazement. “Look how big you’ve gotten.”
“Well when your locked up in a chamber for a year, you can grow.” They both laugh. “Why are you here? How did you get here?” Bellamy looked down at the ground. "I did some things to get here. But I cant tell you what. Now I-”
“Can you just open the damn doors?!” Someone yelled from the back.
“Do you mind?” Octavia exclaims, turning around. “I haven’t seen my brother in a year.”
“No one has a brother!”
“That’s Octavia Blake, the girl they found hidden in the floor!” Conversation arose. So handsome doesn’t have a girlfriend. Nice to know. Octavia Starts to walk to the person that first yelled out, but Bellamy stops her.
“Octavia, give them something else to remember.” He opens the door suddenly, and the brightness makes us all squint. When I was finally able to open my eyes, what I saw was beautiful.
“Be the first on the ground.” Octavia slowly steps out of the ship, step by step, slowly. She finally jumps out of the spaceship, and we all wait in awe to see what happens next.
“We’re back bitches!”
Authors note: Okay well I know these two chapters have been pretty descriptive and have taken a lot of time, but I promise that its not always going to be like this. The story will get better. There will be many bellark moments to come. And Finn, well you'll see. So i am going to try to update once a week, if i can more often. I will probably update very often this week because i am on break. Please comment on how you think i am doing and what you think i should add. Please note that this is only a rough draft, and their are still many grammer mistakes that i plan on fixing later next week. Thanks for reading and stay put for many, many more chapters to come!!
