I have been always late for school, my tito drove to our school as fast as he could, im even combing my hair on the way, when i arrived in school gladly i saw Ashia standing near the gate.

"Late ka na naman?" I asked ashia, well it's obvious but i couldn't help but to ask.

"Girl, tagal nina kuya magbihis" ashia said and she couldn't stop complaining to me how he's brother took almost an hour inside the bathroom.

"3 laps na naman tayo ngayon?" I asked our officers of the day. Then ashia left me.

And they told me it's 5 laps not 3! How could our teacher do this! Allowing us to run for 5 laps in our field? that's so rude of him!

I noticed Ashia kept on combing her curly hair using her fingers and looking at her mirror, ka aga aga tumatakbo kami at ang nasa tabi ko conscious na conscious sa sarili nya.

We were running for 2 laps when ashia laughed and pointed at suinnee.

"Oy! Grabe naman 'yang si sun mukhang tanga" i looked at sun and now she's standing beside our room laughing, with a lollipop on her mouth.

"Tingnan mo, di pa papasok sa room, tayo lang ng tayo dyan sa tabi, start na nga yung class e" i said laughing, Sun's really a badass, she doesn't attend our classes, but her remarks in every subject are good except for Algebra.

Our Algebra Teacher is kinda strict and scary pero mabait naman, pero almost kami sa room bumabagsak, i dont know what's wrong, or who's wrong? Is it us? Is it the book? Or is it the teacher?

After a few minutes we finished 5 laps and diretso namin kinuha ni ashia yung bag namin, hindi na kami nag abala pang lumingon sa mga Officers of the day, tutal ginagawa lang naman nila yung pagiging OD para di makapasok ng 1st period, for real our seniors isn't that good. When i say not good it is really not good.

We ran through our building and bought some water we're already 45 minutes late and we have 1 hour left for first period.

Parating tinitignan ni ash yung relo nya, and ayaw nyang maging haggard, tsaka parang may dala na sneakers sin sun and jackets, may lakad ba sila?

"ASHIA!" Sigaw ko

She glared at me and signed me to shut up at this Point i already know what's happening, nanatiling nakayuko si ashia at patingin tingin sa pintuan ng room namin, she's ready to cross the door.

Damn these girls, di talaga sila nauubusan ng magagawa lahat na lang nagagawa nila mapapahamak ako nito sa kanila.

Ashia ran quickly to sun and started laughing now ashia started gesturing me to follow, but im scared my mommy will kill me, so i entered the classroom instead.

When i entered the room, all eyes were on me, pumasok akong nakayuko at bigla naman na nagsalita yung teacher ko, pinagalitan nya ako ng ilang sandali bago ako pinaupo. Umupo ako sa upuan ko at inayos ang bag ko, inilapag ko naman sa armchair ni sod yung ballpen nyang nasa akin, sod is my seatmate, i always talk to him about something kahit walang sense, kinakausap nya parin ako he is a nice guy.

Social studies the boring one, i couldn't focus on this subject, antok na antok na ako, plus i hate this subject.

I live in a province, so Im a probinsyana, but our province is different from what other province look like. Hindi kami naninirahan sa kagubatan, we have lights we have everything it's like we're living in a subdivision, a peaceful subdivision.

I was looking at the windows when i saw sun and ashia eating, those two are crazy, how can they eat in front of our classroom? What if our teacher saw them? Oh god they're not my friends.

Lunch break came, me and zad went outside.

"Nakita mo ba kanina si Ashia nung nag 5 laps ka?" Zad asked.

Actually, our school is the most prestigious school in the town. We had to take written exam and interview para makapasok sa school namin ngayon, out of more than 200 takers, 35 lang kukunin nila, and how lucky i am to be one of the top 35.  Nung freshmen pa kami, kanya kanya kaming kaibigan, so I've been with sun all the time and others with their elementary classmates. Pero ilang buwan ang lumipas, we happen to get along together, we bonded and went out with them.

"Oo magkasabay kami ni ashia kanina, pero sumunod sya kay sun" i told zad.

Zad went inside our room to get something, i saw aia with zylina, they sat under the tree laughing, I wonder where's sun and ashia.

"Oh, sayo na yan"

Lumingon ako and i saw Sod, my seatmeate, inabot nya sakin yung bottled watter at umupo sya sa tabi ko.

"Bakit mag isa mo lang?" He asked, kailangan ko bang sabihin sakanya? Or should i just say na kasi mag isa ako dito? Like what's with the curiosity?

"Kasi mag isa ako" i answered sod

Sod is a kind guy, he has beautiful principles in life.

Tumawa si sod sa sagot ko, i just looked at him, what's with this guy? Nakakatawa ba 'yon? Hindi naman ah? he's weird.

Sod's friends called him, sakto naman lumapit sina aia at shella, they're also my friends, aia isn't the type of mahinhin girls while zylina is.

Zylina has good grades, our guy classmates admire her for that, she's pretty and smart, and kind too, but she never gave her attention to guys. While Aia is not that mahinhin, madaldal at maingay si aia, almost all of our teachers got the nerves for her, lagi silang nagchichismisan ni sun, magkalapit yung upuan nila kaya nakakapagchismis sila, kahit may teacher sa harap naguusap pa rin sila, kahit si sun yung nagaaya kay aia mag usap, si aia lagi naabutan, and then there's sun with her own ways.

"umalis sina sun?" Tanong ni Zylina, she flipped her hair and fixed her shoes, bago tumingin sakin.

"Oo sila ni ashia" sagot ko, inayos ko yung upo ko para makaupo si aia, with hotdog buns in her hand and soda

"Hm? Talaga? Di ko na abutan" aia said.

Sun, Aia and Zad, madalas silang lumalabas, saan saan sila pumupunta, cafes, stores and parks, lagi silang magkasama pag may lakad, but sa tuwing nagsasama sila, palagi silang napapahamak, either nagui-guidance or pinapatawag parents nila, but they don't care, umaalis pa rin sila.

"I think masakit tiyan ni ash kaya umalis" that's what i told them, paano nalang if may teacher na nagtanong? Atleast alam namin isasagot namin.

We went inside our room, nung nagbell. The class started and ashia and sun were the only absent for the day, our teacher announced na walang klase mamayang hapon, nagsigawan naman kaming lahat, yun na ata ang nagpapasaya samin yung walang klase. So Aia invited us to her house, payag naman sina Zylina and ali tsaka zad so sumama na ako.

"Zanne, text mo sina ash" ali told me.

God wala akong load! Kailangan ko na talaga humanap ng ka text para naman makakabili ako ng load

Zansoleil: Ash San ka?

Ash.S: Sa bahay

Zansoleil: punta ka dito, nag aya si aia dun daw sa bahay nila, walang klase mamaya

Ash.S: Si sun? Invited daw ba?

Zansoleil: Oo kayong dalawa.

Ash.S: otw

They were cooking so i stayed inside aia's room, i was playing with her ukulele, when suddenly someone barged in to her room.

"Sun ang tagal nyo ah" lumingon ako sa pintuan and i was shocked when i saw an unfamiliar guy we stared at each other when suddenly i heard ashia shouting

"May dalang jowa si zan!" Ashia said shouting

What the hell!

Tumakbo silang lahat papunta sa amin, god this is awkward, this guy barging in to aia's room and ashia shouting na jowa ko sya? What the hell is wrong with these people, when i looked at my friends lahat sila nagtataka, i am too, sino ba 'tong walang hiya na ito. Kyangug!

"Ilios?" Sabi ni Sun.
