JooA was doing some shopping in a mall and she somehow bumped into a stranger multiple times. She may be quite dense but she felt weird.

She left to a nearby bus stop and was waiting for the bus when she noticed the same person was there as always. She started to get creeped out and board a random bus.

She chose to alight where there were many people alight. She took a few steps away from the bus stop and started calling her brother but he didn't pick up.

She turned her heels and the stalker was seen caught off guard when she walked back to the bus stop. Walking the opposite way suddenly was one of the many tips to know if you were being followed.

As calm as she could, she tried calling her cousin and thank god Hyunjae picked it up.

"Oppa!"

"Hello? Eric is-"

JooA cut off Hyunjae's words. "You want ice cream? But I'm already on the way home though."

"What...Deobi, I'm sorry I have to answer this call." JooA heard from the other end. "What's going on? Where are you?"

JooA smiled in relief that Hyunjae caught her weird conversation. "I'll go get the one at the convenience store then."

"Which convenience store???" Heavy breathing could be heard.

"Silly, the one in front of the grey high building obviously." She faked a laugh. "Han river." She muttered softly, audible enough for Hyunjae to hear.

"Okay, don't hang up the call. I'll be there shortly!!"

Feeling assured of her safety, she took out her earbuds, pretending to be listening to music as she walked to the convenience store with the stalker tailing from behind.

"I just got on a cab, I'll be there in 5 mins okay??"

JooA kept her smile to herself and hummed to a random song in acknowledgement.

"Ahjussi, would it be okay to speed up a little bit? I'm in a hurry, my friend is in danger."

JooA coughed in wanting to hide her snickering. She walked in the convenience store and picked up some ice cream. Hyunjae was nowhere in sight so she thought of something else.

"Hello, can I use this coupon?" JooA held her phone nearer to the cashier which she typed a note with

'there's a stalker following me, could you help me with the cctv footage so I can lodge a report?'

The cashier was surprised but managed to control her expression. "Of course!" She smiled and pretended to scan JooA's phone.

"Thank you." JooA thanked and paid for the items she bought without forgetting to slip her business card so that the cashier can contact her.

Minutes later, Hyunjae walked in and caught JooA having her ramyeon at the high table. JooA who still had food in her mouth, made a smile with her chubby cheeks to acknowledge Hyunjae's presence.

Hyunjae heaved a sigh in relief and scooted closer. He made JooA face him then wrapped his long arms around her. "I'm sorry, is he still here?" He whispered.

JooA was flustered but managed to reply with a nod. Hyunjae pulled away and slightly bent his knees as he cupped her chubby cheeks to match her eye level. He caressed her cheeks and shot his soft smile. "Take your time. I'll send you home after you have your meal, okay?"

His soft warm touch, gentle soothing voice, made her heart flutter uncontrollably. All she could do again, was a nod. She finished up her food with Hyunjae standing beside her like a bodyguard.

The stalker left before they could make a move. "That's the one." JooA said after sipping her drink.

"Did you manage to take a picture of him?" JooA shook her head sadly.

"I actually took some pictures when he wasn't looking." The cashier said out of nowhere.

"Omg, thank you!!" JooA jumped in happiness.

After exchanging a few words, JooA and Hyunjae left the store and headed to JooA's home. It was already late night and both took turns to yawn.

"Red nose sunbae." JooA called out.

Hyunjae cackled. "I can't believe you really call me this in real life." He was so used to JooA calling him that through messages but not verbally.

JooA giggled. "Thank you for today."

"Why were you out this late by the way?"

"I just wanted to shop awhile after work..." JooA scrunched her nose. Being stalked was her least expectation. "Anyways, congrats on your first win!"

The Boyz recently had their first win with comeback song titled 'Bloom Bloom'.

Hyunjae smiled. "Thank you, your cousin cried like there's no tomorrow."

JooA laughed as she nodded her head, kinda expected that. "He's always a baby."

JooA was safely home and she was contemplating whether to invite Hyunjae in but it would be weird as it was already late at night.

Noticing her hesitation at the front door, Hyunjae let out his soft chuckles. "Maybe next time, I'll come visit." JooA was flustered and her heart was doing it again when Hyunjae warmly patted her head. "It's already late."

"Uhm, but... Your jacket? I still have your jacket." She stammered on her words.

"You can keep it." Hyunjae shot his infamous eye smile and opened the door for her to go in. "Goodnight."

He gently pushed the not moving girl and bid a final goodbye before closing the door.
