[Spring 2016]

Graduation day for Hyunjae has finally come. Many visitors came and despite that, lessons still went on for non-graduating students.

It was during Math class when JooA noticed her cousin peeping from the back door. She squinted her eyes to be sure that her cousin was really there.

As soon as Eric met her eyes, he beamed and gestured her out. JooA mouthed, "now?" And Eric nodded happily. JooA scratched her head and with hesitation, she raised her hands up.

"May I go to the washroom? Urgent." She embarrassingly asked when the break was in 10 minutes time.

Kind enough, her teacher let her go and she thanked softly. She walked out and met Eric near the stairs.

"Don't you have school today?" She hissed as she slapped Eric's arm.

Eric playfully laughed as he placed his free hand on his arm, rubbing the pain. "Today is graduation day. And one of them is my trainee hyung." He answered.

Eric had recently successfully passed an audition and been living with the trainees for a few months. Which also means, it had been quite some time since the cousins met.

JooA ohh-ed and gazed at her watch. "I'll buy you drinks." She offered and Eric gave her a quick hug.

"Thank you noona, hehe." He giggled and JooA laughed.

"Let's go~" She led her cousin to the cafeteria before crowds filled up.

"I can't stay for long by the way." Eric pouted.

JooA shook her head. "It's okay, lunch break soon and my friend will be here shortly."

Eric sighed. "How's my mom doing by the way?"

"She's doing well." JooA ruffled Eric's hair gently. "Has your hyung taken his cert yet?"

Eric nodded. "He will text us when he's done taking pictures with his classmates. The rest should be in the van I think."

"Ahhh, why didn't you come to this school? At least I can see you for a bit before I graduate." She said and Eric slumped down in his seat.

"Sorry..." He mumbled and received a text.

Such coincidence the bell rang indicating that the next period had started which was lunch break. "It's okay, you can just go. I'll be waiting for my friend here." JooA gave him her genuine smile.

Eric put on his sad smile. "I'll call you tonight." He made a call sign as he stood up.

JooA chuckled. "Silly, call your mom instead."

Eric cheekily stuck out his tongue as he left JooA. She watched Eric running to the carpark and caught a familiar figure approaching her cousin. It was Hyunjae but she does not seem to remember.

At that moment, Jinnee sneakily tiptoed behind JooA and scared her shit out making her startled with a small scream.

Somehow Hyunjae had the urge to turn behind and he caught JooA punishing her friend for being silly. Hyunjae smiled and slung his arm around Eric as they walked to the carpark.
