Who would have thought that people would actually approached JooA if she was really Eric's cousin. Ever since she made a cameo on Flower Snack, instead of just pairs of eyes on her, people were more daring enough to approach her. Not that she was that popular, but it took her by surprise that people came to ask her identity.
The day of Eric debuting had finally come. His mom and his cousins came to support his debut showcase.
Thankfully there were special designated seats for The Boyz families so at least Joshua's identity would not be exposed. Feeling proud of Eric, they too burst into tears as Eric cried during the showcase.

All the families were then led by the staff crew to backstage to see The Boyz up close. One by one, parents gave warm hugs to their children who had finally debuted after tough training.
To be lived apart from their families, the members cried as they embraced and watched other members reunited with their parents.
"Mom, where are you?" Eric called out as he began to shed tears.
Everyone else can't help but to laugh at his cuteness.
"Mom is here."
Stood by the side, Joshua and JooA held in their tears as they watched Eric hugging his mom tight, missing the embrace.

"Were you like that too?" JooA muttered softly.
Joshua warmly put his arm on her shoulder and brought her closer to him. He knew the meaning behind her words. "We will visit her soon, okay?" He looked at the shorter one, with his eyesmile that was seen above his mask.
JooA sniffed and returned the smile.
After seemingly calm down, Eric pulled away from the embrace and caught his cousins at the side. He started bawling once again as he opened his arms wide, waddling to their directions.
The cousins scooted closer and returned his embrace.
"You did well." Joshua praised Eric as they hugged.
JooA who could not contain her emotions, she shed some tears when it was her turn. Noticing her sobbing, Joshua chuckled.
"Ahh what do I do with you babies?" Joshua commented as he comforted the younger ones with his warm hug.

Hyunjae went soft as he watched his crush shed tears. After JooA had parted from Eric, their eyes met and Hyunjae gave her a small smile. JooA too, put on her smile and slightly bowed her head to her senior.
"Congratulations" She mouthed and Hyunjae mouthed back "Thank you".
That winter was the 3rd year of their first encounter.
