Maybe It's not the right time
Maybe it's not the right place
But the time was fun
Would never call it a waste
We had our laughs
We had our tears
But then came
One of my worst fears
It happens I guess
And I'm left with pain
But it's alright
I'll stay sane
If it's written for me
Then it's fate
Maybe you'll be back
Maybe you won't
I'll lose the pain
But I'll keep the hope
And that's just how I am
A slippery slope
I still wish
You were here
Next to me
And always near
But we both need time
To heal, to learn
And maybe one day
I'll get the touch I yearn
For now we part
But in my heart the fire
That will never be put out
For its you that I love...
