The sunlight's warmth melted the last remains of the winter snow, small buds began growing on the flowering trees with some buds starting to spout out flowers brought over a sense of dread as the deadline for the Empress' request was ending. Fangsu wore a suitable dress for the season, a light green hanfu with osmanthus embroidery that is scattered giving an illusion that the leaves we're being emitted from the wearer's body. The beautiful hanfu was given by Lady Meng but the craftsmanship was from Gui Ying who was able to create such a beautiful hanfu. As Fangsu was getting ready to leave to meet with the Empress with the caretaker unit. The protective barrier that surrounded the Chen household was disabled. Fangsu's grandpa was waiting outside the house and a sudden rush of carriages arrived with many hired movers rushing into the house.

The gallops are horseshoes showed the doctor was moving into the Chen Household. Fangsu rushed over to the doctor, hugging the tall doctor despite her short stature, "Fangsu! You are dressed up so nicely!" The doctor returned the hug gently squeezing the young girl, "What battle are you fighting?" The doctor jokingly spoke but that caused Fangsu to slightly tremble in dread. The doctor was startled by Fangsu's quick emotional change at the mention of battle. Fangsu gave a quick summary of the situation that had been happening for the past couple of months trying to heal the Empress', Black Mirage Leopard, "I never knew an extremely timid person like you confronted the Empress directly." The doctor just chuckled at Fangsu guts for standing up against the Empress, one of the most powerful women in this kingdom.

A carriage came for Fangsu, a calloused hand came out through the curtain which Fangsu took. Entering the carriage, Fangsu was stunned to see Zhao Hui was the one who lent his hand to her. Fangsu quickly retreated her hand from Zhao Hui's and sat opposite from him, "Am I that unpleasant?" He lazily rested his chin on his hand, smirking at Fangsu nonchalantly, looking outside the window avoiding him completely. Knowing that Fangsu was going to meet with the Empress, Zhao reaches into his robes to pull out two pieces of candy wrapped in some wax paper. Unwrapping one of the candies, plopping it into his mouth. The other candy, he handed to Fangsu who was surprised, "It's sea salt candy with plum," Swirling the candy in his mouth until the candy accidentally got caught in his throat.

Seeing that Zhao Hui turned red to blue from choking on the sea salt plum candy, Fangsu quickly began roughly hitting his back multiple times. Each hit on his back felt like Zhao Hui was getting beaten up. But, eventually, those hits caused the candy to come back up into his mouth. Zhao Hui began gasping for air slowly breathing normally as the air returned back to his lungs. Fangsu released an air of relief as his face began returning to its normal colour, "Next time, be careful eating those candies." Fangsu returned back to her nonchalant self and sat back down in her original seat, "It would be such a pathetic death for someone powerful and important like you," Fangsu coldly stated as she remained seated during the ride to the Palace. This sudden coldness startled Zhao Hui who only knew of the kind facade of Fangsu. Truthfully, Fangsu was quite envious of Zhao Hui knowing that he had very strong cultivation powers and had a complete whole family who loved him.

As the carriage reached the stairs of the Imperial Palace, Zhao Hui got out of the carriage to escort Fangsu. Fangsu who has dressed appropriately for the designated meeting with the Empress naturally garnered lots of attention from all the servants and officials who were curious about the unknown girl. Zhao Hui soon left Fangsu to her own device and went into the direction of the Dowager's Palace presumedly to meet with his grandmother. As Fangsu continued to walk towards the Empress' Palace for the meeting, a figure began chasing after her. Wu Song was also meant to meet the Empress with her because both of them were fulfilling the Empress' request. As they both reached the entrance of the Pearl Palace, the guards searched them for any potentially dangerous item on their person which there were none. After the search they entered the Empress' Palace which was mainly made from high-quality pearls and quartz, the high beams were littered with mother pearls and the palace was lavishly decorated with rare materials from foreign countries, handcrafted luxury goods and the palace itself was magnificently furnished with expensive wooden furniture.
