Maya grabbed the planner form the couch and folded it up. Lucas walked out of their room and smiled.
"I'm taking you to dinner tonight." He said while grabbing the blanket.
"Why?" Maya furrowed her eyebrows. "Oh no! Is it our anniversary?"
"No." Lucas chuckled. "We need it. It's Friday, I'm not going to the library and you have one writing session today right?"
"Yeah." Maya nodded. "Let's do it. I'll be home by six-thirty."

"Aisha check this out." Maya giggled while spinning around in the chair. She stopped and stood up.
"You're gonna make yourself sick." She smiled while brushing her hair.
Maya checked her phone and smiled. "I have a meeting to attend with my manager. I'll be out in hopefully thirty."
"Alrighty. Do you want lunch? I'm going to that sandwich shop down the street." Aisha questioned.
"Oh yes! Get me whatever you get." Maya pleaded before grabbing her back. "Water too! I'll pay you back."
"No need. Hurry to your meeting!"
Maya nodded and walked out of Aisha's lounge. She excitedly walked towards the conference room and sat down.
"Hi, Kallie." Maya greeted while grabbing her notebook. "I got a notebook just like you requested."
"Excellent!" She exclaimed while closing the door. "I have some exciting things to discuss with you."
"I'm already excited."
"So, the label has given you a due date for your single. You have one week to complete it. They want your debut quickly because..." Kallie happily walked towards her brief cafe pulling out a sheet of paper.
She quickly turned it around with a cheesy smile.
"A movie is in the works and they need a soundtrack. They want you to record a few songs for them to put in the movie."
"No way." Maya smiled.
"Yes, way! They've sent over some sheet music and want a demo of the recordings tomorrow. Next! After you're single is completed, you and Aisha will collaborate on a song." Kallie placed down the sheet of paper.
"Wow, things are starting to get real."
"Very real. Don't be nervous though! You're writing session will be thirty minutes and afterward, you'll be in the studio recording some takes of the songs."
"Fun." Maya nodded.
"That's all the news I have! I'll text you about any upcoming meetings."
Maya stood up and walked out the door. She walked back into Aisha's lounge and plopped on the couch.
"Well hello." The voice spoke. Maya shot up and looked towards the girl standing at the refrigerator.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." Maya chuckled. "I'm new here and I don't have a lounge yet so Aisha lets me chill in hers. I'm M-"
"Maya Hart." She interrupted. "I know. You're KHarts daughter right?"
"Right." Maya slowly said.
"I'm Kayla, Aisha and I are dating at the moment." She stuck out her hand. Maya scrunched her eyebrows.
