Maya rushed through the front door and looked around. "Lucas?"
Maya closed the door behind her and locked it. She went towards her room and opened it. Lucas wasn't there. Maya furrowed her eyebrows and picked up her phone.

Maya brushed her teeth while staring in the mirror. Lucas didn't come home last night. She didn't want her mind to think the worst, but she was pretty suspicious.
"Isa!" Maya yelled. "Are you done with the pancakes?"
"Yeah, I've been done twenty minutes ago. How long have you been brushing your teeth."
Maya placed down her toothbrush and washed out her mouth. She headed towards the kitchen and sat down.
"Where's my phone?" Maya asked while grabbing a pancake.
"Here."
Maya grabbed the phone and quickly dialed Lucas' number. "Hello?"
"Maya." His voice was groggy.
"Where the fuck are you?" Maya demanded while angrily biting her pancake.
"I'm at my apartment. It was super late and I didn't want to wake you."
"Why do you still have your apartment?" Maya rolled her eyes.
