"Ugh, why is this so hard!" I grumbled, throwing my pen down onto the table in frustration.

"Still working on the lyrics for the love song?" Yoongi asked, rolling his chair over to sit beside me. Over the last few days, I had grown accustomed to having Yoongi in the studio with me. It just felt natural at this point.

"Yeah, and what's worse is I've filled up my whole lyric book with these crappy lyrics. We only got an instrumental with no words."

"I guess I can try and help—"

"Oh my gosh, yes! Please, please help me." Without even thinking, I grabbed onto his balled-up fists that laid on his lap.

He stared down in confusion at my hands resting on his. I gradually removed them, feeling embarrassed.

"Sorry. I'm really stressed right now. I mean, you can help, right? You must have been in love before?"

"That's a pretty heavy question."

"Well, only if it ended badly, or you've never been in love..." He gave me a look, confirming the answer to my unspoken question. "Oh, I'm such an idiot. God, sorry for bringing it up—"

"Why are you sorry?" he asked with a light chuckle. "So I've never felt that way about someone. Some people just don't believe in love."

"Umm, I'm sorry, you don't believe in love? What's there not to believe in? What about that feeling you get when you're around that special someone? The way they can just make your toes curl and heart flutter with a single look? Or how they just complete you in a way no one else can?"

"You know, for the hopeless romantic you are, it amazes me that you can't write a love song."

"Well, you know things aren't exactly going so hot with Taehyung..."

"Which proves my point. I don't understand what's so great about being in love. What's the point when all it does is hurt you and make you vulnerable?"

My mouth hung agape as he said this. What a pessimistic way to look at things...

"Well, every emotion is enhanced. The pain that person can cause is a hundred times worse than anyone else can, but the happiness is amplified by a thousand."

"Okay, fine. Then focus on those happy moments." Yoongi picked up a notepad and pen, as I gave him a questioning look. "I mean, for the lyrics. Start by telling me how you guys met."

I was hesitant at first, but I soon complied. What other choices did I have?

"Well, I was meeting up with Jimin for lunch after one of his meetings. He was with Taehyung since they had just started a business partnership, and when he introduced us, I remember zoning out because I thought he was so breathtaking.

"I was mesmerized by his eyes, his lips, his very being. And I was so embarrassed when I finally snapped out of it. I guess that was how the first few weeks of our relationship went: him making me into this stuttering, embarrassing mess. But like, a good mess: an infatuated, smitten mess."

I stopped for a second, looking over to Yoongi, who was jotting some stuff down.

"This can't possibly be helping, right?" I asked him.

"No, no, this is good. Keep going. Tell me about the moment you knew you fell in love."

I pondered for a moment, but it didn't take long. I knew the exact moment I realized I fell for Taehyung.
