People always talk about how lucky or unlucky they are. They say things like "Oh I'm so lucky to have you" or "Aw crap I stepped in dog shit, this isn't my lucky day". But is this really about Luck?
Luck is not about good or bad, Luck is about events that nobody could have predicted. Like the chance that you kick a soccer ball and that it bounces on a light pole and then hit your grandma right in the face and goes in the goal, or that your pregnant wife dies because an iron beam fell from a construction site at the very moment she was under it. You're not lucky to be with the person you love, you worked for it. You're not unlucky if you fail a test because it was hard, you're just a bad student.
Some people seems more attracted by Lady Luck than others though, like people who win the lottery twice or those who get hit multiple time by lightning! Are those people bringing Luck to others? Are those people dangerous? Should we get rid of them because their whole existence is unfair? The answer is : Whatever! Their luck would probably save them anyway!
The real question remains though. What is Luck? Can we control it? Can we predict it? Huhhh... Instead of asking yourself those questions, you should play Danganronpa!
