Chapter II

The next morning, I heard someone ramming the door of my dorm. It was still dark outside and the birds weren't chirping yet. With my mind still fuzzy, I slowly walked toward my door. When I opened it, I saw Junko with an ecstatic smile.

She took a big breath and said, "Goooooood morning s-," her mood changed from joy to disgust in a blink of an eye. "What the fuck Mukuro! Go put some clothes on! I don't wanna see your disgusting fat body like this!"

"But I'm in my pajama, Junko," I answered, confused, " It's not like I am nak-"

"I don't give a fuck, you stupid slut!" she cut me, "If you're not here dressed like a normal person in fifteen second I swear I'm gonna scream!"

"I'm sorry, sis!" I said, then I ran back into my dorm. I dressed up as quickly as possible and I left with Junko, it was almost 3 a.m by then. "So why did you wanted me to come with you so early in the morning, Junko?"

"Well, we are- oh, excuse me, *I* am going to meet something you don't have," said Junko with her big smile.

"What do you mea-".

" I mean a FRIEND! Wasn't it obvious? Anyway, I just need someone on guard duty, and a lil' bird told me that you aren't able to do anything except following me wherever I go! Oh, and, by the way, I bought Iced latte to keep you up."

"Thanks, sis, but you know that I really don't like latte, do you?"

" Of course I do! I'm your sister after all!"

I reluctantly drank my latte and somehow, it did give me some energy. After 5 minutes, we arrived at the meeting place. A boy with black hair was leaning on the wall, visibly waiting.

"Oh hey, Yasuke!" yelled Junko toward the boy. She jumped on him and gave him a big hug, she said, "I missed you SO much, Yasuke my man!"

Ok guys I forgot to tell you something. There's a light novel in the Danganronpa universe called "Danganronpa Zero" that is very important with the plot of this story. Unfortunately, it was only published in Japan in 2011. Although I recommend you to find a translation and read it, watching a recap video of the novel on Youtube should also do the trick. If you don't wanna, Yasuke is the Ultimate Neurologist and the childhood friend of Junko. Junko loves him but she's basically friendzoned (lol). Anyway, sorry to interrupt your reading again.

"Hey! Don't jump on me like that," answered Yasuke a bit annoyed, "Oh, hi, Mukuro."

I didn't say anything. I just looked at him with my usual emotionless face. I always use that face when I don't wanna talk with somebody or to show other people that I don't care about them.

"Anywayyyyyyy," said Junko while still holding Yasuke, "Mukuro, could you just, like, disappear for a bit? I don't want you to ruin everything with that horse breath of yours. I'll scream if I need ya."

I nodded and I silently walked away. I sat down not too far from there and I waited. I actually waited for very long. I stared at the stars, lost in my thoughts. I was thinking of what happened between Makoto and me yesterday. I was extremely embarrassed, but at the same time, it didn't feel like he pitied me or anything, he just really wanted to help me. I think it was the first time someone actually wanted to meet me and was not forced to.

What should I do now? He wanted us to become friends, right? But then again, I can't just go talk to him, it would be too weird. I should just wait and see what happens... But what if nothing happens? What if he never talked to me again? I very ugly and I smell bad, I would understand why he would hate me...

Before long, I realized that the sun was coming up and that Junko wasn't back yet. I left my guarding spot to see if she was still there with Yasuke. But when I arrived, there were not there. Nothing could have happened to her, right? She didn't scream so she probably just left with Yasuke.
