Chapter 22 - Help from a friend?

Kenji sighs.

"Fine. Yagi, please leave the room." He says. You reach and grab his hand. Yagi looks at you and smiles. 

"It will be OK." Yagi says. You nod slowly and let him go and he leaves the room. Kenji sits and looks at you.

"Who is your father?" He asks. You let him know and over the course of the next hour, you had to give as much detail as you could to him. Bakugo was quiet but he held you and that made you feel better.

"Alright and final, who is the girl you spoke of? The one named Eri I believe you said." He asked. You look at Bakugo before you look back at him. 

"I don't know. All my father said was her name was Eri and she had a quirk called rewind." You say. He nods and stands. He then walks up and grabs you by the arm gently, making you stand. 

"Hey!" Bakugo yells as your placed in handcuffs. You have more tears but didn't fight him. You did nothing wrong, why are you being arrested?

"(y/n) Shigaraki, you are under arrest. Please, don't fight." Kenji says. Bakugo grabs his arm.

"For what!" Bakugo yells. Kenji looks at him. 

"I was told to leave the room and get her side of the story but I heard them say they plan to arrest her. I don't know why. I don't want to do this either. She seems like a hero more then a villain to me." He says and lets you go, making you sit on the bed. Bakugo lets him go and moves to you. 

"I will let her stay here with you, under my watch, for now." He says. Bakugo grabs you and holds you as you cry, rubbing your back. 

"Your making a mistake!" Bakugo yells. Kenji opens his mouth when heat flies in. You all look and you see Endeavor. 

"Endeavor." Kenji says. He walks up and sees you in cuffs. He looks at Kenji. 

"Remove them." He orders. Kenji doesn't move. Endeavor glares at him.

"By the order of the police force." Endeavor says and holds out a piece of paper. Kenji takes it and reads it. He then folds it up and places it in his pocket. He moves over to you and undoes the cuffs on your wrist. You grab Bakugo and hold him in fear. 

"Go and talk to the people outside." Endeavor orders. Kenji nods and leaves. Endeavor looks at you. 

"Animal." He says. You look at him. He called you by your hero name. He smiles. 

"I told them about what happened when I trained you. I told them if you were a villain you would have attacked me." He said and held his hand out. You see he was holding something. You reach and take it. He lets it go and smiles as he crosses his arms. You look at what he gave you. 

It was your hero licence. 

You look at him. He nods and leaves the room but before he does, you turn into a bird and fly to him, getting in front of him. He stops and you turn into your Phoenix form and hug him. He smiles and pats your back. 

"Your welcome." He says before he moves you and leaves. You turn human and run, hugging Bakugo, who hugs you back.

He picks up a vase and throws it at Tomura, which misses him. A little girl with gray hair and a horn on her forehead covers her face so not to get hit with any of the flying pieces. 

"You let them escape!" All for one screams. Tomura doesn't say anything. All for one walks up to him and grabs him by the shirt. 

"I need her blood Tomura. If I don't have it, we cant stop the heroes." All for one says. Tomura looks at him. 

"Go to hell." He says. All for one looks at him. 

"Not before you do." He says and drops him before he looks at the little girl, who backs up a bit. 

"You, little Eri, are only one part." He says and leaves, slamming the door to the room and locks it. Tomura sighs and leans on the wall. 

"M-Mister?" Eri asks. He looks at the girl. 

"Will people come and save you?" She asks. Tomura could hear the hope in her voice. He smiles at her. She reminded him of (y/n) when she was that age. 

"Sure kid." He says. She nods and looks down without smiling. Did that not make her happy? Wouldn't a normal kid smile at that?
