Kneeling next to Zoe's body Rave lifts her left hand and removes the shining diamond blessing that binds her to Ronan from her ring finger.
It's done.
He gets up, clutching the ring in his fist, and takes out a teleportation device.
Sometimes it just feels really lucky to have access to the most modern technology at all times.

Ronan slowly opens his eyes as the rising sun wakes him up. He tries to sit just to realize that he fell asleep on the floor.
He looks around the bedroom. Everything is normal. Until he notices two cracks in the wall right above his head.
"Oh no.."

"Dad?"
Hugo's voice comes from behind the door Ronan just locked last afternoon.
"Are you alright? Where's mom?"
Ronan gets up, still tired. His head is spinning.
What happened?
He unlocks the bedroom door and walks out.
"Zoe?"
Him and his son look around the whole house but she's nowhere to be found.
Ronan puts on his jacket and still seemingly tired and kind of annoyed walks out to look for her.
As he's walking down the street going straight to the park where he assumed she might be, he hears noise from around the corner.
Many voices talking at once.
He walks over to the next street to see what's going on.
"Jessica?
What's happening here?"
She looks at him with eyes full of fear, shocked.
"T-there's no need to worry about a-anything! The s-situation is already being taken care of-!.." she looks down, her face starts shifting into sadness.. "Ronan..you shouldn't be here.."
He doesn't listen and walks into the crowd.
But the moment he gets in it's center..
He falls on his knees
Tears running down his face
