It was a nice sunny day
But that's pretty much all that was nice about that day
Hugo was hiding in his room as he heard his parents arguing which did not happen often but if it did it made him really sad and confused
Even if it wasn't anything big even just a small incident
But this time it was a little worse
Even if not a the biggest tragedy Ronan and Zoe have never been this upset at each other and they regretted most of their words afterwards
Ronan stayed locked in the bedroom and Hugo would swear he heard him punch a wall a few times
Zoe left to go for a walk to calm down
As she was walking down the street she noticed a shadow that looked like a person but she didn't pay much attention to it
After all there is always that someone who likes to hang out in the alley, sometimes even people in groups
She kept walking and started humming
It made her feel a little better
The sun was setting and she had her favorite song stuck in her head
Perhaps the day might get better..?
She got closer to the alley
The shadow was still there
But she didn't really care
If anything she can greet whoever there is if they come up to her and just walk away like always
...
The moment her foot touched the ground next to the dark alley someone covered her mouth and dragged her behind the wall
Before she realized it she was on the ground
Someone was holding her down
They looked her in the eyes
They were smiling
Was that..
...
Zoe didn't get to finish her thought and call out his name as she tried to scream in pain as he stabbed her in the chest
She couldn't let out a sound with the rag he put in her mouth and his hand on her neck as he was choking her
The last thing she heard was his insane sounding voice as he let out a giggle
...
Her eyes closed
...
Her heartbeat stopped...
"Good night, Zoe."
