Me: Whoa, you have a piano? Do you play?
Namjoon: No, no. It's for BB. She stays over sometimes.
Me: Aw, you got her a piano?
Namjoon: *smiling* Yeah. Her dad is teaching her though.
Me: Does she have her own room?
Namjoon: No, she sleeps in the guest room across the hall with the gym and the study.
Me: Man. I love this place.
Namjoon: Are you sure you don't want one?
Me: *laughing* No, I'm sure, Namjoon.
Namjoon: Ok, there is one more room sort of.
Me: Sort of?
Namjoon: Yeah, just a storage room.
Me: Let's go.
Namjoon: Why?
Me: I want to go through your stuff.
Namjoon: *smiling* Ok.
I followed him back downstairs. Next to the bathroom, he unhooked the latch to a door so flat that it blended in with the wall. We had to tug it open because of a slight jam. Namjoon's storage space is hot and kind of stuffy, filled with boxes on boxes.
Namjoon: Go nuts I guess.
Me: Where are the books?
Namjoon: This way I think.
The first box I popped open was filled to the brim with books. I wonder how Namjoon keeps track of all of these. Books on books on books. He also had a bunch of movies in here too. On dvds. All of them look store bought but there are some old movies. Black and white old.
Me: You have a thing for Hitchcock?
Namjoon: Huh?
Me: Over here. You have the whole Hitchcock Presents series in here.
Namjoon: Oh! That's my dad's box. He gave it to me when I moved in here.
Me: I've never seen a Hitchcock movie.
Namjoon: Never?
Me: No.
Namjoon: Not even his motion pictures? Like Psycho?
Me: Not one.
Namjoon: How could you have never seen a Hitchcock movie?
Me: I don't watch horror movies like that?
Namjoon: What movies do you watch then?
Me: Thrillers.
Namjoon: *laughing* What is the difference?
Me: Thrillers are for suspense! Horror is for scaring! There is a difference!
Namjoon: *laughing* Yeah. Right.
Me: *laughing* Fuck you, there is a difference.
Namjoon: You know what?
Me: What?
Namjoon: We are going to watch every single movie in that box together.
Me: You want to do a binge with me?
Namjoon: Yeah I want to do a binge with you.
Me: *smiling* Cool.
Namjoon: What thrillers have you seen?
Me: Well, mainly shows.
Namjoon: Shows?
Me: I know you're more of a movie person, I'm a TV person.
