5:30 pm, the clouds this evening look as if they are carrying some burden, She can see the story in their eyes, if only they can talk, because she needs someone to also help her carry her own burden
She brought out her phone from her purse
Assalamu Alaikum Dr sir, please can I see you this night, it's urgent
She typed and waited for a reply
6:45, she's still seated under a shade of a beautiful, well branched mango tree that sit perfectly in the hostel waiting for a reply but today of all days the hands of the clock decides to be crippled
She pressed the home button and there's still no notification
Patience is something she don't have because, time is not by her side

Her mind wondered to all the wrong places
Has he been kidnapped, is he okay, what's happening
she was about to run completely out of her sanity when she heard a paint beef from her phone
I hope you are okay jidda, where are you let me come
It read
Thats one thing that she loves about Dr nasir, he cares about her, he has this sense of maturity, he will be a perfect husband and a perfect father for their kids
I'm leaving for Yellow lounge please meet me there
She quickly typed and left.
~
The stars were beaming with light as she sat on
the far end of the restaurant waiting for Nasir to arrive
She kept practicing what to tell him in her mind

Minutes later she was swept by his cologne, there he was walking like a Demi God, his demeanor and class are two things that draws her to him

"Jidda!!!" He walks towards her, worries evident in his features as he moves his hand to her forehead to feel her temperature, as his skin made contact with hers, she felt a jolt an unusual jolt

"Im fine" she smiled
"So why did you call me here?" He enquired curiously
She can't just go straight to the point and tell him that Imran asked her to marry him, or that she loves him and wants him to marry no that won't be appropriate

"My dad is very ill" she lied through her teeth
" SubhanaAllah What's wrong? How's he?" He confusedly ask
"He's fine, I just need more prescription" she stammered and told him the symptoms of the fake illness so he'll prescribed some drugs for her
Which he did
"Thank you"
"You are welcome, Allah ya bashi lafiya, you need not to worry" he sweetly assured

Dr Nasir ordered for food and everything on the table seems lavishing but she didn't dare to give the table a second look because there's something hanging on her mind and that's Imran's words
His heavy, heavy words
The question of her life, her future, her kids if she ever wants to get one
So many things are laden on her mind
"Jidda, jidda" he called for the third time before she realized he was talking
"Are you okay, you've been acting strange, meke faruwa?"
"I'm fine, I'm great" she smiled
"Let's talk about you instead" she uttered after her heart took a long screech
"O-Okay" he smiled and she took it upon her to ask him everything she wants to know

"Dr sir, if you are to get married again, will you? The question came out as hazy as her heart
"Jidda, what type of a question is this, you know how I feel about Imani, I want to spend the rest of my days mourning her"

he sounds a little bit angry, but he was so sure of his decision she could feel it in his voice and it makes her so angry that the person she loves is a coward and does not have an ounce of faith
"Why are you asking me all this" he asked

"You know what, forget it I didn't know why I was thinking you were ever going to let go of this cowardice, I didn't know why I ever saw a future with you in the first place, I should have known you can't let go of you first wife, you don't want to move on but its fine" she stood up and took her bag, he was so confused, why the outbreak
What's wrong with Jidda, he wandered

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I have no right for this outburst, I can't also determine when any body will heal or decide to let go of a love one, I also have no right to ask you to reciprocate my feelings, my feelings are my feelings and I should be responsible for my feelings, no body else
But I have to tell you Dr Nasir, this past few days have been havoc upon havoc, I don't know why I was wishing you'll be my knight in the shining amor"
