"Hi I'm ashton!" A boy who looked around my age, possibly older, was stood in front of me with a sweet smile painted on his face. He had cute little dimples which were placed on the Middle of his cheeks.

He tugged down on a purple shirt he was wearing which was obviously too small for him.

"Do you want me too take that for you?" He asked referring to my suitcase which I had placed on the floor next to me.

"Yeah thanks! that'd be great" I tried my best to give him a believable smile but it probably didn't work seeing as his chirpy attitude fell a little.

"Follow me I'll show you too your room" he smiled while turning around and walking towards a wooden staircase.

Every step we took the floorboards would creak a little, making me feel a little uneasy from the thought of memories which I wish I could forget.

We walked down a short corridor until we reached a brown door which I assumed was my new bedroom.

"Okay so this is your room" he pointed too the door while still holding a smile. "You'll share with my sister Lauren. She's out at the moment so you can unpack your things"

"Okay thanks" I managed to pull a small smile just to be polite.

"I'll come back in around 20 minutes to give your a tour of the house!"

"Oh thanks that's really kind of you"

"Don't worry it's my job whenever someone new comes" he told me flashing that cute smile another time.

"What do you mean?" I didn't know there would be any other people here apart from me and Ashton's family.

"Forget I said that. My mum will probably tell you everything later anyway"

"Oh okay" I was really confused at what he was talking about. I thought I was the first and only person too come stay with this family. At least that what my uncle had told me.

I shrugged it off not bothering to think about it anymore.

Once Ashton left the room I took the chance to take in my surroundings. There were two beds one which was messy and unmade, the other had fresh white sheets with two small patchwork cushions placed at the top.

There were a few posters, of bands I faintly recognise, stuck on the wall along with some interesting paintings. By the way they were sloppy and smudged I assumed they were homemade.

The walls were pale blue with hand painted flowers around the top of the wall. They looked so beautiful, each petal had a gold rim around the edge which added just a hint of elegancy

In the corner of my eye I saw a small wooden door. I pushed away my curiosity to investigate as I had leant from experience to keep my nose out of things which do not concern me.

I placed my suitcase on the bed, which I had already discovered was mine, and started too unpack.

I placed most of my clothes into the empty chest of draws next to my bed. I also placed my favourite candle and a frame which had a picture of me and my friend Gemma. We were stood in front of my old house with huge grins plastered on our faces. I remember that day so vividly. It was one of my better days. Which I was very lucky to share with her.

I just wish I could go back...
