A/N

I haven't proof read this so be aware for mistakes!!

~~~~~~
I tapped my nails along the arm rest for around the twentieth time this minute.
A nine hour flight to America was not on my list on fun things do too, especially when I don't want to reach the destination.
"Are you okay?" Ashton took his headphones off an placed them around his neck. He had kept asking me how I was ever since the other day.
I guess he had gathered something wasn't right.
"Yeah, I'm fine" I didn't like lying, but I hated making people worry about me.
"I know your lying, but I want you too know I'm here for you" he placed his hand above mine and gave me a small smile.
I looked back out of the plane window, buildings of every size were covering the ground.
It looked so magical, just as I had remembered it.
I could never imagine calling this place home like I used to. Nowhere was home now...
~~~~~~

As me and Ashton stepped out of the plane my nerves got the better of me.

I hadn't seen my uncle in ages and I didn't know if he'd recognise me. It'd been almost two months since we'd spoken.

We both walked down the long corridor. With each step my heart seamed to beat even faster.

We turned the corridor and my eyes scanned the crowd in search for my uncle.

"Can you see him?" Ashton was looking as well. He's never seen a picture of what he looks like so I assume he has no idea what to expect.

"Uh yeah, over there" I point to him.

He hadn't seen us yet, he was looking down at the phone in his hand.

The right screen always seamed to be illuminating his face. I'd never known any other appearance on him.

"Uncle?" I sounded more like I was asking a question when really I was meant to be stating that we were here.

"Who's this? Whats happened to your hair?" He looked me over and seamed to be filled with disgust.

I hadn't even changed that much. Had I?

"This is Ashton, I told you he was coming remember?" I defiantly told him. Seeing as he payed for our tickets.

"Oh, never mind lets go" He walked away, assuming we'd follow behind.

We walked out of the airport and Into the car park. He pressed the button on his keys and a sleek, black car lit up from across the room.

"Is he rich?" Ashton whispered, I'm guessing he didn't want my uncle to hear us.

"I don't know" I honestly didn't.

My uncle was always secretive about his money. I always got everything I wanted but I was never allowed to ask questions.

We got into the car, Ashton an I both sat in the back.

My uncle didn't bother to waste any time, within minutes we were on the motorway.

Ashton and I both stayed silent the whole journey. I could tell that we were both consumed in our thoughts.

When we arrived my uncle didn't bother to help us carry our bags. We didn't have many but it would've been nice if he had offered.

He put his keys in the door and swung it open. The warm sent of cinnamon filled my nose.

I never realised how much I missed it. I hadn't even been gone that long but the smell still seamed a lifetime ago.

"Take your bags upstairs. Austin, or whatever your name is, you can have the guest room" His tone made it sound as if he couldn't wait for us to leave.

"His names Ashton" I sighed. He didn't even pretend to be interested.

We both walked up the spiral staircase, both of our bags dragging behind.

"Your rooms the first on the right" I motioned down the corridor to where Ashton would be staying. "You can unpack your things into the draws if you want too"

"Okay thanks, should I meet you downstairs?" he smiled at me. I could tell he was tired, maybe even more than me.

"Yeah" we both turned into our rooms. My hand hovered over the handle for a while.

I was scared.

I didn't want to uncover memories that I had only jus started to forget.

I pushed the door open and my eyes were filled with unwanted thoughts.

The band posters plastered on each wall used to be the only things my eyes saw.

The countless hours I spent with music blasting into my ears were the only thing keeping me sane.

I placed my bag down on the floor and closed the door behind me.

My eyes scanned over to my bed, I noticed that the covers were still messed up the same way as they were the day I left.

I was in such a commotion I had no time to worry about being clean.

I decided against going to sleep, i was jet lagged but I didn't want to ruin my sleeping pattern already.

I made my way too my bathroom. I needed to wash my face, let's just say planes don't do me any good with skincare.

I waddled over to the door, as I stepped on the cold tiles they woke me up a little. Making a small shiver creep up my spine.

Even though I was half asleep red markings still caught my eye.

I looked over to the mirror and my heart almost stopped.

In my favourite lipstick bold letters were written

You can't fool me -L
