Me and harry talked about nothing the whole bus journey. I learnt that he grew up in Cheshire and moved here last year because his mum got a new job. He has one sister called Gemma who was older than him.
I hadn't got the chance to make friends with anyone else as I was with Harry the whole day.
It made me wonder if Harry actually had any friends. He hadn't introduced me too anyone around school, and nobody had waved or talked too him.
We were now sat in the canteen eating rather unappealing macaroni cheese. The stringy cheese clumped together and stuck to the macaroni, making it look like sick.
But never the less my stomach was grateful as I had skipped breakfast earlier.
"So Charlotte, do you have a boyfriend?"
I suppose I didn't, at least not Anymore. He'd probably forgotten about me by now...
I didn't notice how long I'd been thinking about my answer until Harry spoke up.
"Don't worry I'm not asking you out or anything" he put his hands up in a jokey way, chuckling too himself.
"No, no I don't" I smiled trying to mask my uncertainty. I needed too put these memories in the past. They were long gone and everyone else had probably forgotten by now. At least I was hoping so.
"Well if your finished we should probably go to maths now" he motioned to my empty plate and I nodded.
We went and emptied our food away and slowly started walking towards the maths block. Me and Harry had most lessons together, because we were in the same form group, so we had practically been everywhere today.
The rest of the day dragged on until the final bell rang. Everyone instantly picked up their bags and filed out of the classroom.
Me and harry were the last too leave. By the time we'd got out of the room the hallways were deserted, allowing us to walk slowly without being in a rush.
"Do you want to come round mine today?"
"Oh no I can't sorry" i didn't really want to go round to Harrys house seeing as I had only met him today. For all I know he could be some crazy axe murderer.
"Why?" He pushed open the door and let me walk through, while he held it.
"I said I'd help Ashton make dinner today"
"I'm sure he'll be fine" he pleaded with me making a pouty face and puppy dog eyes.
"Sorry Harry I promised him" I really didn't like lying to Harry but I just couldn't go today. I need too know if I could really trust him.
"Promise you'll come round some other time then?"
"Okay, I promise" I smile at him as we made our way down the street towards the bus stop.
~~~~~~
"I'm home" I shouted while wiping my feet along the mat, trying too rid them off the dirt on my shoes.
I took off my shoes and coat and trudged my way up the stairs.
The house was silent so i assumed everyone hadn't arrived home yet.
When I reached my room I plopped down on my bed and put my head phones in, blasting music into my ears.
