Chapter 7 (No...No..NOOO)

It was Henry. Jordan and I were confused; I was mostly because I couldn't figure out how he got my number in the first place.

~Heyyyyyyy~ he wrote.

~Hi???? How did you get my number~ I asked.

~Jordan gave it to me~ he replied.

"Really.WHYYYYYYYYYYY" I said to her as I looked at her and dramatically fell backward on my back.

"What I didn't do that.Oh wait I did.That's for Andy" she said both with fake voice for the beginning and then a sarcastic voice.

I just looked at her then looked back at my phone wondering what to say next.

~ I'm kind of busy rn and My phone is at 3% and almost dead but i will text you later and Lol Rlly did she just give it to you or did you ask her for it?~ I asked.

He replied ~Oh Ok and she just gave it to me and said to text you Lmao and Ttyl~.

"Wow Jordan wow" i said

"Your welcome" She said in her Happy cheerfully voice.

We decided to go to the store and get some snacks and popcorn and movies to have a movie night to take are minds off of everything.

  Its been about a week and no one has heard or has seen Andy. Jordan and I have kept quiet about it ever since it has happened.

Everyone has been acting strange lately, they have been a lot of missing people reports and deaths over the last week and people are starting to get this so called Virus thing and its driving everyone crazy.

The government told us to stay indoors till they find out what is going on and for us kids to do online schooling. The online schooling wasn't that bad actually mostly because we could be on our phones without the teacher knowing.

  Well like me i don't pay attention to the rules sometimes and neither does Jordan, we still worked for the Channel 10 news but we didn't do much reports lately. It was getting late as I was hanging out with Jordan.

"Its getting late i might want to start heading home" I said to Jordan as we were walking back to her place.

  She lived right next to me so i could just walk over to her house and she could walk over to my place.
 
"Ok See you tomorrow." She said as I was walking towards my house.
 
"See ya" I replied back. As I walking into my house I thought I heard someone whisper my name from the woods. The voice sounded awfully familiar but I couldn't figure out where I heard it from. I decided to look around to see if anyone was actually in the woods or I was just hearing things and of course, there wasn't anyone there so I turned away; But as I was opening my door I saw what seemed to be a tall figure in the corner of my eye running throw the woods. I quickly went inside and locked the door. I sighed and just thought my eyes were messing with me or it was a deer.

  "Mom I'm home," I said expecting a sarcastic reply of her saying 'About time' but to my surprise, I didn't get one.

"Mom?" I asked as I walked around looking for her confused but something didn't feel right, The house felt empty, it was quiet and it had an awful smell, The smell was so bad that I almost threw up. I checked my room then I went into my mom's room to see if she was there but there was no sign of her. I looked around for a note telling me when she will be back or where she was. I started to text her.

~Hey mom where are you? I'm home now~ I then heard a buzz coming from the living room. I went to go see what buzzed.

~Mom?~ I texted again but once I did I heard the buzz again. It sounded like it came from the couch. I checked the couch and found my mom's phone under a pillow. I began to freak out and panic. I was then wondering what the smell was. I looked around the kitchen and found nothing.

I walked around and just thought that my mom was at Jordan's place. I decided to FaceTime Jordan.. Then I heard something fall from the storage. I froze and didn't want to check it out. I walked slowly towards the storage room door and noticed that the weird smell was getting stronger as I got closer to the door.

"Nichole, what's going on?" Jordan asked.

"I don't know where my mom is and I just heard a noise is she at your place?" I replied.

Before she said anything I asked "Mom?" I asked as i was walking towards the storage door hoping it was her that made the noise.

  No response. I slowly opened the door to see what made the noise.

When I opened it the smell got stronger. I then froze......

A/N: I have not written or edit this in so long but Chapter 7 took some time for me to write. Somethings went down and I stopped writing but I will start writing again soon but I'm just now re-reading this and I'm now realizing that this is so Cringy lol😂 {8/3/2021: Ok so the next chapter I'm kinda stuck on with ideas of whats gonna happen and What exactly Nichole finds that leaves her frozen but I got an idea of what the next chapter may or may not look like.}
