Chapter 7/ sorry

*Avani's pov*
We decided that when my mom got home from her business trip we'd tell her. Well she's back and I'm terrified, I mean what if she makes me abort it? My mom had me when she was young and she always told me to wait for kids. Well here goes nothing. Me and Anthony walked in to the living room where she was sitting. (Idk her moms name so I made one up)
Avani- "mom"
Helen- "what is it Avani?"
Avani- "please don't be mad"
She looked up from her computer confused
Helen- "Avani you're scaring me just spit it out already"
Avani- "well I'm pregnant"
Helen- "no, that can't be"
Avani- "I'm sorry"
Helen- "Avani I expected better from you, you know what I went through being a teen mom"
Avani- "I know I'm sorry, we didn't expect this I don't know how it happened"
I started crying because I was scared she was gonna yell
Helen- "aw baby come here, no need to worry"
Avani- "I'm sorry"
Helen- "it's okay honey accidents happen"
There was just a moment of silence, I think Anthony was too afraid to say anything.
Helen- "now you two need to figure stuff out because your not getting rid of that baby, you created it and you need to own up to the responsibility"
I was a little mad that my mom said that even though we're keeping the baby she should have let us decide.
Avani- "that was the plan"
Helen- "and you young man, you need to be apart of this child's life your not going anywhere now"
Anthony- "yes ma'am"
Helen- "good and I want to meet your mother, we all need to figure out how this is going to work"
Avani- "were gonna go tell her and bring her back here so we can plan"
We left the house and got in the car to tell his parents
Anthony- "one down two more to go"
We smiled and took off
*Time skip to Anthony's house*
Anthony- "mom, dad, could you come to the living room for a minute?" (I made up his dads name)
Lisa- "what is it sweetheart, ooh the girls back, sorry I'm terrible at names"
Avani- "Avani"
Lisa- "nice seeing you again"
Dave- "okay, you wanted us?"
Anthony- "guys sit down"
Lisa and Dave- "okay.."
Anthony- "Avani's pregnant"
He just blurted it out. His parents were in shock.
Lisa- "Anthony David Reeves didn't I tell you"
Dave- "you're 18 what are you gonna do?"
Anthony- "I don't know we need to talk about it but we are keeping it"
Lisa- "so what's next, your out with it now what do we do?"
Anthony- "well her mom wants to meet you and discuss some things"
Lisa- "okay, okay I'll grab my purse"
*skip back to Avani's house"
*Avani's pov*
Avani- "MOM!"
Helen- "Avani don't yell in the house"
Avani- "sorry, were back though"
Helen- "oh hello I'm Helen it's nice to meet you"
Dave- "Dave"
Lisa- "nice to meet you too I'm Lisa"
Helen- "come in come sit"
We all sat in the living room and just waited for someone to speak
Helen- "so, since you guys are graduating next week we don't need to plan for school so we can just focus on like work and stuff"
*time skip to night time*
Me and Anthony were in my room laying down, he was staying over again because I didn't want to be alone.
Anthony- "Vani?"
Avani- "yes?"
Anthony- "are you scared?"
Avani- "of course I'm scared I'm gonna have a baby coming out of my vagina in 9 months"
Anthony- "no I mean after that part, like what if we're not fit for parenting"
Avani- "like you said we're only given as much as we can take, we'll be fine"
Anthony- "you're right I'm just worrying, good night baby and other baby"
Avani- "good night Anthony"
