Chapter 13/ outing

*Anthony's pov*
Today me and Avani are going out just to get some adult time. We're leaving Arya with Josh and Nessa (Ik they broke up but pretend) because they want to spend time with her and we want time without her so I works out perfectly. Right now I'm ready with Arya and we're just waiting on Avani.
Avani- "all done"
She ran down the stairs with a huge smile.
Anthony- "okay well let's get this show on the road"
I grabbed Arya's car seat and we got in to the car. 15 minutes later we got to Josh and Nessa's, we dropped Arya off and went to a diner. We got seated at a booth and ordered.
Anthony- "what's wrong you look nervous?"
Avani- "it just scares me leaving her"
Anthony- "she'll be fine, we can FaceTime her later"
I held her hand and rubbed it to help calm her down. After that our food arrived and we ate. We decided to just walk around the city so that's what we're doing now.
Avani- "I forgot how pretty the city is"
Anthony- "so did I"
Avani- "I miss going out"
Anthony- "let's go back to the car I have a place to show you"
We got in the car and I drove her to an overlook.
Avani- "oh my god this is beautiful"
Anthony- "I used to go here whenever I felt stressed or overwhelmed"
Avani- "why'd you stop?"
Anthony- "because I came here to escape from my problems and that's just not a healthy way to deal with them"
Avani- "oh"
Anthony- "okay let's not be sad, I BROUGHT FOOD"
We started laughing while I set up the blanket to sit on. We started eating and taking in the view.
Anthony- "ugh I miss this"
Avani- "what do you mean?"
Anthony- "don't get me wrong I love Arya with all my heart but I miss just going on dates with you and being free"
Avani- "I know I miss it too"
Anthony- "lets take pictures"
Avani- "okayyy"

I decided to text Chase just to see what's up and to let him know he messed up.

You- Yo bro why'd you do that to Charli?
Chase 🤴🏿- we're not even official so technically I'm single.
You- But you guys were talking so there was clearly something. And you kissed Josh's ex? You messed up bro.
Chase 🤴🏿- whatever, I'm over this in my opinion I'm single so 🤷🏻‍♂️.

We ended it with that, I really didn't feel like going back and forth.
Anthony- "Chase thinks he did nothing wrong"
Avani- "of course he does, it's Chase"
Anthony- "how's Charli?"
Avani- "better, everyone's supporting her"
Anthony- "good"
Avani- "it's cold let's go home"
Anthony- "okay"
We packed up the stuff and got in the car
*in the car*
I looked over for a second and saw that Avani looked upset probably from the Charli stuff, so to get her to feel better I put my hand on her thy since her hands were holding her phone. When I did I saw a slight smile creep onto her face so I know she feels better.
Avani- "I want a puppy"
Anthony- "when Arya is older"
Avani- "okay"
We got home and just went straight to bed and actually got a good night's sleep.
