You were running late to class. Today was your first day in this class and you were fucking late. You muttered profanities to yourself as you searched for the lecture hall. Maybe you should've searched for your classes with your friend before the start of the school year. After all, your campus was the biggest in the state.

As you found the lecture hall, you entered quietly and looked for a seat in the back few rows. You were most comfortable in the back of the classroom. You often liked to mutter comments to yourself and you learned that people got annoyed with that, so you just stuck to yourself in the back. However, to your horror, all of the seats were filled. All except one in the front.

You muttered another profanity and bent down, hoping to make it to the seat in the front of the class, unnoticed. Many students noticed, you suspected even the professor did but nobody said anything, which you were thankful for. You sat down in your seat and took a deep breath to calm your heart rate.

Once you were focused, you took out your MacBook and looked up at the professor. This whole time you'd only been listening to his voice but once you looked up, you realized not only did he sound way smart... he was also hot.

You looked around the classroom and saw that a majority of the class were girls. 'Of course' You rolled your eyes. They were probably just auditing the class just to watch this Professor... You glanced at your MacBook, where your schedule was your background. Dr. Reid, talk for a whole hour about criminal psychology.

Dr. Reid paced in front of the class, going through his introduction, which was quite long and often off-topic. As he was pacing and fiddling with the expo marker in his hand, he dropped it, close to where you were sitting.

"Fuck me," Dr. Reid mumbled under his breath.

"Maybe later," You jokingly replied, almost in a whisper, as you typed up the points he said he was going to go over this semester.

Dr. Reid looked up at you, his face flushed. "What?" He asked as he stood up.

You stopped typing as your eyes widened, "I-" You didn't know what to say so you just sunk down in your seat and avoided eye contact, hoping he'd move on. Thankfully, Dr. Reid changed the topic.

"Okay, just to make sure people were paying attention before I start this video... Who can explain to me, in their own words, what profiling is" Dr. Reid asked.

You avoided eye contact. You learned through years of staying in the background, that that was the easiest way to not get called on. Apparently, in a profiler's class, that was not the best way to not get called on.
