"Brynnn!!!" Kenzie yells, stomping into the living room, and I hide behind Lexi. "Sorry Kenz... I haven't seen her" Lexi says. "I see her ponytail behind your shoulder." Kenzie says and rolls her eyes. "Oof you're on your own Brynn." Lexi says. I sigh, slowly standing up from my spot crouched behind Lexi.
"Hey Kenz what's up?" I greet her. "hEy kEnz whAts Up?" She Mocks me and I scoff. "Whyd you go through my phone?" "Oh yeah. By the way, it sounds like a bop. WHAT IF I SAY I KNOW YOU KNOWW WHAT IF I TOLD YOU I LIKE YOUUUU?" I start singing obnoxiously.
"Yeah, uhh I think you should stick to dance." Lexi comments and we all laugh. "I agree with Lexi for once" Kenzie laughs. "I wrote another one wanna hear it?" I ask. Lexi raises an eyebrow and Kenzie frantically shakes her head. "Alright, here it is. Ahem." I clear my throat.
"WYATTT OLEFFF IS THE BESSSTTTTT LA LA LA LA LA LA LAAAAAA" I start scream-singing, spinning in circles around the couch. "TURN IT OFF TURN IT OFF!!!" Lexi starts yelling and Kenzie doubles over with laughter. "WYATTT OLEFF ALSO MEANS WYATT OLAFFFF!!! YOU SHOULD PUT HIM IN FROZEEEEEN" I screech, my voice cracking during the E in Frozen.
"DOES IT HAVE AN OFF BUTTON?!" Lex shouts, approaching me and stopping my spinning. Covering her ears with a pillow, she's tapping my shoulders and my nose and my head. "HE COULD PLAY OLAFS HOTTER TWINNNN" I continue. "KENZIE HELP MEEEEEE!!!" Lexi shouts. Next thing I know I'm knocked over by Kenzie throwing a pillow at my head.
"Oh sweet jesus." Lexi sighs, flopping back on the couch. "Never do that again." Kenzie says and I rub my head with my hand. "Never do that again!" I say, pointing to the pillow and my head, and she just chuckles.
"ANGEL VOICE IS CALLING!!!" I yell, holding up her phone and I swipe answer. I see Johnny's face appear and I just show the ceiling. I'm not dumb. "Hey princess." He says and I see him smirk.
"EEK!" Lexi squeals and I chuckle. See, Lexi has the obsession with Johnny Orlando that me and Kenzie have with Wyatt Oleff. Just hers is a little less intense. "Yeah I'm Brynn." I say. "O-oh!" I hear him immediately stutter.
"Brynn give me the phone and go back to singing about Wyatt Oleff!" Kenzie yells. "Never!" I say, and she rolls her eyes. "So how are ya Johnny?" I ask. "Uh I'm good. How are you, Brynn?" He responds.
"I'm good. I taught myself how to photoshop at like 6 in the morning this morning." I say. "Oh that's fun. What'd you need to photoshop??" He asks. "Oh its actually a photo of you and Ke- M." I say, and Kenzie glares at me.
"Oh. Well I'd ask to see it but I assume that's a no" He says. "No!" Kenzie shouts. "Well okay then." He says chuckling. "Hey, M?" He asks. "Ned wants to know if you'd be comfortable coming into the studio to go over the music?"
"Uhhh" She says, getting nervous. I can see her play with her fingernails. She does that when she gets nervous. "Can I wear a mask?" She asks and I hear him sigh on the other side of the phone. "Of course." He answers, just seconds later.
"Okay, when?" She asks. "Wednesday?" He responds and she nods. "She says that's good. Text her the details." I say for her and he nods. "Okay. Well I actually have to go. I'll tell Ned you're cool with it. Bye girls" He says.
"Bye!!" Lexi shouts over us saying goodbye and we just laugh and hang up. "You're no fun!" I yell at Kenzie. "When are you gonna take the stupid mask off?!" "When I'm ready, Brynn." She says, calmly and sternly. "I just dont know about it yet. I mean my mom doesn't even know." "Then tell her!" Lexi exclaims. Kenzie glares at her.
"Its Julieeee!!!" I shout as her phone rings again. "Damn you're popular" I say and she chuckles. "Hi Julie!" I answer. "Hey Brynn, Where's Kenzie?" She greets. "She's here." I say.
"Okay, so Kenzie, did Johnny talk to you about coming in to the studio on Wednesday??" Julie asks. "Uh yeah." She responds "and before you ask. I'm using a mask." "Well it was worth a shot." Julie responds chuckling.
"Any chance Brynn or Lexi can change your mind?" Julie asks. "Nope" Kenzie responds, popping the P. "Maddie??" Julie asks hopefully. Kenzie appears over my shoulder and shakes her head. "Johnny?? Lauren?? Hayden?? Maisy?? Jules?? Mandla??" She keeps asking hopefully, naming all her friends.
"Okay first of all, I barely know Hayden. I know Lauren a little more but not a lot. And Maisy and Mandla dont know." Kenzie says. "Great, I'll call Maddie, Jules, and Johnny." She says and hangs up.
"See everyone wants you to. At least tell him." Lexi pleads and Kenz just steals her phone and walks back to her room, Leaving me and Lexi to just sigh.
