I watched as Bokuto looked through his bag for a change of clothes. I turned my attention to my phone, looking at the pictures that were in the group chat. I skimmed through today's pictures, smiling to myself.

"What're you smiling about, Ahgassheee?" Bokuto curiously asked, pushing his head in front of me to block my view from my phone. "Ooo this is a good picture of us, did Ko-chan take that?"

"Yeah, she did," I said, setting my phone down. He turned his head to face me, his eyes heated in a way I've seen before. I placed a hand on his cheek, guiding his face to align with mine. My heart was pounding hard, and I couldn't look away. How can I make you look only at me...? I wondered to myself.

He suddenly smirked and watched my reaction as he stated, "It's my birthday. You have no right to deny my wishes, right?" His arm slid around until his hand rested on my lower back and he pulled me towards him. Next thing I know, he pinned me down onto the bed, leaving me flustered. He lifted his head and smiled gratefully up at me. "Thank you Akaashi." He rolled over and took the outstretched bottle from me, downing it. I drank mine before laying back down next to him. He rolled over and curled into my side, snuggling close.

"Happy birthday, Bokuto-san," I greeted, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and planting a kiss on his forehead.

"Thank you, Keiji," he replied, pressing his lips onto my neck. "I really appreciate everything you do." Then why can't we be together...? I thought to myself. I watched as he drifted off to sleep, gently pushing back his hair from his face.

The morning light shone through the window, pulling me out of slumber. My eyes fluttered open to see Bokuto already awake, watching me intently. "Good morning, Bokuto-san."

"Good morning, Ahgassheee!" he greeted back. I leaned in and planted kisses on his neck. He laughed out loud, holding me to him. The smell of breakfast brought us back to reality, cutting the little escape of ours short. "Let's get something to eat?"
