Three years later - October 5th

Joshua and Ellie were in his barn room as he swiftly bullseyed every target with arrows in a matter of seconds, Ellie nodded her head amused

"Wow I'm impressed, babe" she complimented and Joshua eased up on the bow string and put it over his shoulder

"Ah, it was nothing. Just making sure it still works" he said and jumped down from the second floor ledge near her into the grass

"Your giving that to Laura, for her birthday today?" She said standing up from a wooden box and followed him into the back room when he looked at her

"Yep. Right after I make adjustments to it" he answered sitting down at a tool desk and started tinkering with it, while he did that, Ellie looked around

"Damn, I can't believe she's already turning 5" Joshua said "even though she's suppose to be my age"

Ellie smiled "hm, yeah it's crazy how time flys" she answered then saw about 100 comic books all aligned in alphabetical order, she playfully pouted and nudged Joshua from the back gently, he looked at her and smirked when he saw her face

"Oh man, you got more comics than I do!" She whined

"Looks good, don't it?" He said being smart

Ellie shook her head as her fingers went over the titles

"Smug ass" she said playfully, Joshua went back to the bow

"Uh huh" he hummed

Ellie glanced at him with a smile blushing a bit as well before turning to a small deck of old cards right next to the comic books

"Ohh, Can I see this?" Ellie asked as Joshua looked at her again as she took them in her hands "it's cards"

"Of course, you don't have to ask, El" Joshua reminded her, Ellie shrugged her shoulders

"It's a habit..."  she said as she flipped through the cards, Joshua shook his head

"well, anything of mine you can look at"

"ooh does that mean I can see what porn you have hidden in your underwear?" Ellie sarcastically said Joshua made a weird face as he finished the bow and turned to her

"Out of luck, I don't watch that shit, heh, why would you want to look in my underwear anyways?"

"I don't know, just wanted to say something random" she said letting out a small laugh Joshua laughed too

"You're such a dork, Ellie, can I look in your bra draw then?" He said crossing his arms having a smirk on his face, Ellie blushed and shook her head

"No, you may not!" She squealed and Joshua did a tsk

"Aww, bummer" he said sounding sad

"Oh stop! Let's get to your parents house!" She said embarrassed and blushing like crazy, as she stomped out of the shack and into the barn, Joshua grabbed a small quiver of arrows and then followed Ellie outside

"So where'd you get those cards anyways? I have like two of em at my place" Ellie said as she moved a bit of her bangs out of her face Joshua had a small smile across his lips as he answered her

"during scouting I sometimes find them in draws in old houses, I once also found a whole paper listing of the other 100 cards, also you can have the doubles if you want?"
