The next evening

It was early evening when the sun was setting over the horizon and some of the town was getting together for a party, for those that wanted to come, then the soft love country song started playing and couples started to come out the small crowds to dance together. Joel and Sasha were among the others slow dancing together as well. Tommy half smiled at Joel when he glanced his way and Tommy did a thumbs up to him. Soon the first song began to end Sasha softly hummed to it

"Hey...did you request that song that played before?" Sasha asked and Joel smirked as he looked at her and made a idk shrug

"Maybe, I know that was one of your favorites" he said and she playfully pouted at him and leaned her head against his chest as another song started to play

Joel had his arms around her waist feeling the ends of her long brown hair sway against his hands while her hand rested against his chest and the other against his back their eyes were both closed listening to the sweet music play on

"Now..This song reminds me of something..." Joel said softly near her ear and she smiled softly

"Hm..what's that babe?" She wondered as she moved away just a bit to look up at him and put a bit of her arms on his shoulders and crossed her hands, smiling sweetly at him, continuing to slow dance

"Our true beginning starting...dancing to this on our wedding..." he said as Sasha smiled at him and nodded

"yes we did..."

"That was the best moments with you and it makes me wish time would stop" he finished

"Me too...I want to make more happy memories with you Joel..." she whispered as she felt her eyes become warm with tears, Joel gave her a warm smile

"We got all the time in the world for us...."

Sasha's blushed and saw Joel then lean close to her, their eyes started to close and as their lips were about to touch, the asshole old man Seth said

"Just what this town needs: another loud mouthed dyke!"

Making Joel and Sasha stop and look at the scene their hands went down together, with Joel holding her hand as they saw Dina and Ellie stop and look back at Seth, Joel glanced at Sasha and she looked at him

"Stay here" he said seriously, Sasha hesitantly nodded to him and he went over to them

"The fuck did you just say?!" Ellie agitatedly started, then Dina held her back

"Hey Ellie, Ellie don't!" She said putting her hands on her arms

"Hey!" Joel pushed Seth back and glared at him "get the hell outta here"

"Get your hands off me, & mind your business—" Seth started but Maria then came between them

"Hey, enough" she said as she looked at Joel

"And you were we're going for a walk" Maria said grasping Seth's arm

"What about them??"

"You worry about yourself" Marie said and pulled him over to where Sasha once was standing, to the back door
