Arthit's POV

While fastening the laces of my shoes, I glanced over at the clock which read 7 am. I smirked and mentally rubbed my palms together, already enjoying my devilish little scheme. Slinging the laptop bag over my shoulder, I danced my way downstairs.

I finally had the auspicious chance of reaching work without Kongpob having to drive me, something he had been doing religiously for a few days. And I hated it. Each time we walked through the doors of the high-rise together, everyone, right from employees to guards would abandon their occupations to shamelessly stare at us pass by. The fact that Kongpob hadn't heard the concept of personal space and walked, almost fusing our bodies together, didn't help.

Not today, I thought, smiling to myself.

But right as I skipped out of the building, my steps halted. My eyes helplessly watched ice-cold water being brutally splashed all over my extensive plan. For right outside the entrance, stood my boss, casually reclining against his sedan. Is he psychic?

He looked up and gave me an enthralling smile, momentarily making me forget my displeasure at his arrival. Who am I kidding? I completely forgot my displeasure as I itched to return the infectious smile. He had his arms crossed over his chest, making his biceps flex, even through the thick suit. An entire meal toasting in the early morning sun.

Nope. Bad Arthit. If I ever had to get my way, I needed to stop brooding over his distracting features.

"You're an hour early." I grumbled as I stepped into the car.

"Why? Did I spoil your plan of running away to work without me? I know you too well. So, I usually come around this time to stop you from escaping."

He widened his eyes suddenly. "Okay promise me that now that you know, you won't leave earlier than 7. I am not in the habit of waking up at four and your house is absolutely on the other side of the town." I had to chuckle at his cuteness.

"In that case, can you please stop driving me daily? It's really embarrassing to be gawked at every single day."

"Not in a hundred years. I'd rather wake up at four. And they'll get used to it sooner or later. Since I don't ever plan on stopping." He eyed me cheekily and handed me a customary bottle of pink milk, his fingers gliding over the back of my hand.

"You look gorgeous today." My cheeks instantly flushed at the husky voice, making me look away from him. He had, for the past few days, also made it his mission to give me untimely compliments, which although frequent, hadn't yet stopped me from blushing. And I loved every bit of it.

"I get it. I get it. You want to date me really bad. Now stop with the pampering and the compliments, it's really cheesy."

Kongpob lazily came closer and ran a knuckle along the side of my face, stopping at my chin. He tugged it towards him and leaned forward until his hot breath brushed my ear. I sighed at the masculine scent that filled the air around me.

"If you think I am pampering you just to win some brownie points, you couldn't be more wrong. I've been longing to do all this since the moment you whirled into my office with your resume.

Also, wanting to date, is the sloppiest explanation of what I am trying to do to you. I want to claim you in every way that exists." His teeth gently nipped my ear lobe, making my body shiver in anticipation.

"Kongpob..." I whimpered, edging closer to him and wanting to do away with every space that lay between us. My nipples hardened as they grazed his firm chest and I reached to lure him deeper. However, Kongpob abruptly pulled away, not completely but just enough to make me groan at the loss of contact.
