~~3rd pov~~

Y/n bought a squip to help her with her struggles. She only needed a friend that would never leaver her as many of her 'friends' did. At the first 2 weeks, she finally felt happy. At one month the Squip started to act weirdly. They would stare at her a lot and when she looked they darted their eyes away. Sometimes it would brush their arm against hers on 'accident'. About 2 months later she couldn't leave her house. The Squip was keeping her there against her will. She would sometimes escape but since it was in her head, it knew when she was trying to escape. One of those times would be now. Y/n was struggling to get out of the Squip's tight embrace

"Y/n, you gotta stop trying, you won't get out. You're safe here, I keep you safe! What else could you want?" It said trying to keep her as close to his chest as possible

That only encouraged her more. She tried harder and harder and it just wasn't working. She was just about to give up until a thought crossed her mind. Before the Squip could read it, she elbowed it in the face causing it to let go of her. She took her chance and ran straight to the door. Right before she could even touch it a painful shock sent her to the floor in pain. She tried to get up but she just couldn't. She heard the Squip sigh and walk towards her. At this point, she started to tear up.

"You poor girl, I wish I didn't have to do that. C'mon, let's go to bed." It picked her up bridal style and carried her to their shared room

By the time they reached the bedroom, Y/n was full-on crying. The Squip put her down on the bed and looked at her

"Oh baby I know it's hard staying in here all the time, but this is for your good. I'm protecting you. Cruel, terrible people live out there, people who wanna hurt you. Is it so bad to be away from them? I love you so much and that's why I can't let you go." They wiped away her tears with his thumb and kissed her forehead "I really can't take it when you cry like that... smile for me, alright? You're so pretty when you smile" Y/n didn't smile. She had no reason to. "Alright well, I guess we can try again tomorrow. Cause I did have plans to take you out for a bit" And with that Y/n gasp and smiled a bit causing the Squip to smile.

They both got into bed and the Squip was spooning Y/n tightly like they could lose her at any second. Y/n didn't care, tomorrow she could see the world again
