eventually everyone was in the car and the driver started the car

everyone was just silence the whole ride back home
i still had mattia's hand in mine
i slowly rubbed my thumb against his knuckles

he calmed down a little

not some time later we arrived home
i walked with mattia next to me to our room

mattia plopped in his bed right away
hiding his head in his pillow
like he wanted to cry again

i left him there and went to do my night routine
when i did all of that i grabbed a t-shirt

i layed down next to mattia
he was trying to act like he was asleep
but i'm not dumb

i layed with my head at the same level as his chest while my feet were on his legs
i put my hand in his hair
slowly running my fingers thru it

he lifted his head up from the pillow
trying to find my eyes

once they found mine i saw that they were red and puffy

i put my body up and layed his head on my stomach
i put my hands back in his hair

you could hear little sobs coming from him
"let it out mattia" i softly whispered
"you came there and you did it so good" i whispered again

i looked at the time
11:24 pm

i slowly closed my eyes
still running my hands thru mattia's hair

eventually i fell asleep
not knowing what was about to happen tomorrow
