we drove home

this time we got home and there was no chaos or something
just peace in the house

but we gotta do something

"we are gonna make a plan" mattia said when we entered his office
'did he read my mind or sum'
"yes" alvaro said while walking into the room

he saw i was in the room
"ohhh how did it gooo" he said excited
"really, really good" i said with a big smile
i looked back at mattia
he seemed happy too

"i think we should let kaitlynn go to the browns, acting to not know about the whole situation" ale suggested
"yes, then after a little talk you say that you are going back again and they will try to keep you there" kai said

mattia sat there, looking in the space
"what if they let kaitlynn go? you never know" mattia said
"yea, but why do you think they are attacking us?" kai asked mattia
"because they want kaitlynn, perfect idea you two" he said proud

after a hour we were out with the plan

mattia asked some guards to come into the office
they would go with us on the mission so they had to know the plan

"okay bass is going in the house of the browns, acting to not know about the situation, and will have a small talk with them" mattia started
"rosario, cosentino and i will sit in the car. bass will wear a microphone so we can listen to the conversation"

"when bass wants to go, the browns are gonna stop her. i want you to keep going so you can just normally go" mattia said looking at me
"you guards are going to be all around the house hiding. when i push the button from your box you go into the house" he looked around to the guards

"cosentino and i will go and get bass away from them. rosario will be calling the police in the car. when they are here, we'll let them handle the rest"
"this mission will take place around 7 pm, it's now 5. i want everyone at the door at 6:40 pm. don't forget to dress black"

"thank you for your time, you can go now" he said while giving everyone a 'thank you' look

i stayed in the room
just staring at the ground
i felt a presence in front of me

"what are you thinking about" mattia asked
i sighed
"everything"
i still didn't look up from the ground

i felt a finger lift my chin up
just like the first time
in the basement

i locked eyes with him
his brown eyes
staring in my soul

i closed my eyes

i felt something brush against my lips

a finger
mattia's finger

"you have really soft lips" he softly said

his face came closer to mine
i could feel it

his soft and warm lips touched mine

slowly, moving in sync

he pulled away and rested his forehead against mine
"you'll be okay" he said

i stood up and hugged him
like i've never hugged someone before

"i love you" i whispered
thinking he wouldn't hear me

"i love you too shorty" i heard a whisper
i smiled against his hoodie

'god, i'm in love'
