~kaitlynn's pov~

"'mattia" i spoke up
"yes shorty" he said back, not looking up from his phone

"um i gotta tell you something" i nervously said
"tell me" he said now looking up from his phone

"i'm- i'm in-" i began
before i got rudely interrupted
kairi and ale came barging into the room

(i know i just did that hehe)

"your fake parents, they they" kairi began
"what's up with them" i asked
"they tried to kill us" ale said
they stood there
both out of breath

i looked at them
i then turned to mattia
he did the same thing
we looked at each other with wide eyes

"what?!" we both yelled
i got up as fast as i could
"are you guys okay" i asked
"yes i only got some scratches, but kai almost got shot in his arm but the bullet did scratched against his skin" ale said
"i'll clean you guys up" i said taking them to the bathroom

"i am gonna call everyone, when you're done come to my office" mattia said to me
"yes" i yelled back from the bathroom

ale sat on the counter so i could clean the scratches on his leg
after i was done i went over to kai
he sat on the toilet

i looked at his arm
"your lucky it missed" i said in relieve
"yes, i know" kai said, stressed out

i cleaned the blood that was dried up against his skin
"we gotta do something about this situation otherwise it's not gonna end well" ale said, still on the counter
"yes i know, let's go to mattia" i said

we got out of the bathroom
"i'm so glad you guys are okay" i said softly
ale and kairi just looked at me with a warming smile

i gave them both a kiss on the cheek
"okay let's go" i said walking to the door
i saw them both turning red
it was adorable

we came into mattia's office
it was one big mess
mattia was yelling
other people just looked stressed out

"and?" i asked mattia
"i don't know what to do kat, it's getting out of hand" he spoke, clearly mad but also stressed
i sighed and sat down on one of the chairs

"let's just have 2 or 3 officers spy on them and we go to sleep. we'll continue this in the morning okay" i asked him
"yes let's do that" ale said
"i'll get the officers, the rest of you can go to sleep" mattia said

i looked at him with a smile
he returned me a weak one back

i went upstairs and layed on my bed
not some time later mattia came into the room
he threw his shirt off and layed on his bed

"you okay" he asked me after some minutes of silence
"i don't know, alright ig" i spoke out softly
"come here" he said

i looked at him
he opened his arms
i got up from the bed and walked to his
i layed next to him

he pulled his arms around me, pulling me to his body 
i layed my hands on his chest
i layed my face close to his face

"it'll be alright, i promise you" he whispered
he kissed my forehead
then my nose
and last my lips

he gave me a soft peck
i felt some butterflies in my stomach
and that was all i needed for my answer
