I should close up
just me and my notebooks and a blade or two
we can get by.
I can't afford for someone else to damage me.
But you're a blissful oasis
in the barren desert of my life.
I know by now
the light at the end of the tunnel
is the headlight of an oncoming train
but I can't pull myself away
why don't
