When I returned Luke has already had the Riddler, now bruised and bleeding, in handcuffs. I noticed a smile on Bruce's face as Luke hauled Riddler to a nearby telephone pole. "You're done?" he asked when I approached. I nodded and stood beside him.
"Who's next when Riddler's down?"
"Mustang you there?" Kate's voice was heard.
"Yeah, I hear you." I replied. Hacking into the nearby surveillance cameras and accessing their footage I now have a clear view of the steel mill's perimeter. "Strange, there aren't any guards patrolling outside."
"Maybe they're inside?" she asked.
"I don't think so. Hang on a sec." I said, noticing a thin veil of red laser light. Focusing on the frame of a vantage point of the building overlooking the steel mill I saw a man, still a thug, glancing from the scope of his sniper rifle. "That's a fail for a sniper." I said. "Unless..." Pulling away from the frame I checked out the three remaining frames and spotted snipers each stationed on vantage points surrounding the mill. "All fails." I sighed in reply. "Come on, the enemy's gonna shoot you first."
"Am I clear?" Batwoman asked.
"Hold on cowgirl, take down the snipers first." I said. "Sending location now."
"Got them." she replied. Leaping off the rooftop she landed on a sniper's location, knocking him out instantly before the nearest sniper can turn his head. Unfolding a batarang from a pouch of her utility belt she threw it out, the projectile hitting the thug square in the face and knocking him out. "Two more." Bruce folds his arms, standing aside as we watch the take down unfold. Jumping off from the vantage point she grappled to a nearby ledge below the sniper's vantage point. While she finds a way into the steel mill I searched for the lieutenant held hostage in the mill.
"Nothing's here on camera." I said. "How are we going to find him?"
"Maybe it's the wrong point." he said. "Every police badge in Gotham PD has a unique serial number. We could try it that way."
"Maybe." I said, scrolling through the police department's database. After keying in the serial number a red dot appeared on screen, blinking in one of the rooms in the layout. "Found him."
"Where is he?" Batwoman asked as the groaning sounds of defeated henchmen were heard over the comms.
"Foundry. And it's not good." I said, accessing the cam footage. "They've tied him up, over hot searing metal. Black Mask is there."
"Saves me time." she replied. As she said that I looked into the availability of the cameras to listen on conversations which it doesn't have.
"Head through the grate exit on your right, Roman would be standing directly behind you."
"Got it." then Kate burst through the grate, pulling Roman out by his feet and throwing out two stun disks at the thugs when they charged. Securing the thugs and Roman to a nearby pole with zip ties Batwoman approached the control panel and utilized the panel to bring the hostage to safety. "Are you alright?" she asked.
"A bit shaken up but I'm fine." the lieutenant replied, brushing the speckles of dust from the sleeves of his uniform.
"Gotham PD's on their way." I said.
"Acknowledged." she said.
"Sorry to interrupt you two lovebirds but we have a problem here." Richard's voice came over the comms.
"What is it Nightwing?" I asked.
