"Deku... I..."
Toga was about to say something but was cut short by the sudden voice coming from the shadows.
"Hey! What are you two doing out at this hour? Students should be in the dorms at this time and you, young lady, if you live off campus you need to head straight home."
It was one of the security guards for the school. After all that's happened involving various villains, I heard that the security for the school was going to be raised. That meant more guards and stricter curfew enforcement.
"I'm so sorry sir, I was just walking her to her apartment. Please if we could just talk for a couple more minutes, I promise I'll..."
I stopped talking the moment I felt Himiko's hand on my shoulder. She didn't say anything, but her sad smile said everything I needed to know.
Remembering that Mr. Aizawa said to not cause any trouble I realized that Toga was probably trying to say something like-
"Thanks Deku, but remember I don't want to cause any trouble for you so let's continue talking tomorrow after class."
I gave her a reassuring head nod and walked back towards the dorms. While she entered her new home.
Once I got to the dorms I showered, and then immediately went to sleep. But right before I dozed off I briefly thought about something.
I showed Toga how to get around the school and where the classrooms were at, but what class did she end up being placed in?
I can't imagine that any class would be very welcoming since she was an established villain. They will probably treat her harshly for her past involvement with the league or at the very least they will all just try to act like she just doesn't exist and ignore her presence.
I should start thinking of the best way to let the rest of my class mates know that Toga has switched sides. They will eventually see us hanging out together, so I need to make sure that nobody is nervous or worried about her being here.
But with the way her personality is... I can't really picture the best way to introduced her to everyone. Especially to those who had encounters with her in the past like Ochako and Asui.
They're definitely going to be the hardest to convince.
...
Oh well... If I can't come up with anything for now, then I'll just trust Mr. Aizawa or whatever teacher she gets to handle the introductions.
The next day at the beginning of class:
"Alright class please take your seats, class is about to begin. Today we are going to be going over what we studied last week."
Hmm... I guess Toga did end up in another class since Mr. Aizawa is heading straight into the lesson for today. That's good. I was nervous since I still hadn't thought of the best way to convince my classmates that Toga wasn't a villainess anymore. Now I have a little more time.
I was about to breath a sigh of relief but suddenly I heard a knock at the door. Followed by it opening rather quickly and making a loud thud sound.
"Hey! Weren't you supposed to introduce me to the class before starting the lesson?! Stupid hero teacher guy!"
The room went silent while everyone stared at Himiko who was standing in the middle of the door way with her hair completely down, the same way she had it at the festival. She was also wearing the complete UA school uniform instead of just the under shirt and skirt.
After the short silence Mr. Aizawa finally spoke.
"Oh yeah I forgot, starting today we will have a new student joining us. I'm sure you all already know who she is but I'm going to have her properly introduce herself to everyone anyway. I hope you can all get along with her."
Himiko walked up to the center front of the classroom with a confident smile and began to introduce herself.
"Hehehe, hello everyone it's me Toga! Great to see you all again. No hard feelings from last time right? Let's all be friends okay! Also-"
"Ah I can't wait for this nightmare to end so that I can open my eyes and wake up in my room."
"Uh... Mineta you're not dreaming bro. This is actually happening."
"Oh Kaminari don't worry, you don't have to worry about me. As soon as I wake up everything will go back to normal."
"Hey little purple freak please don't interrupt me again because if you do... I might just cut you open and see if you bleed grape juice. Hehe."
"Anyway as I was saying, I hope we can all get along. Which shouldn't be a problem as long as you follow my one rule. Which is to stay away from Deku because he's all mine. Hehe"
After she claimed me as hers everyone turned their attention from her to me. Now I was really feeling nervous.
"Sorry to hear that bro, it was nice knowing you."
"Oí. You will truly be missed my friend."
It sounds like people are under the impression that Toga wants me dead. I better clear up this misunderstanding or else it'll effect her chances of being accepted by everyone.
"Uh wait guys it's not like that, she meant that..."
Wait. Should I tell them the truth that Toga and I are... wait what are we exactly? I mean we obviously like each other but have we officially considered ourselves a couple yet? And if we are how will everyone react? Supportive? Or will they all think I betrayed them by falling for an ex villain?
No that doesn't matter. Even if everyone in the world abandones Himiko, I won't. Even if that means that everyone in the world turns against me. I'll fight for Himiko to have a better life and for my friends to acknowledge her as well.
I was about to explain to everyone about Himiko's change of heart but before I could say anything Ochako suddenly stood up and spoke.
"I'm sorry Mr. Aizawa and everyone else but I can't be in the same room as her. I just don't think I could take it. Not after what she did."
After speaking, Uraraka ran out of the classroom.
Without realizing what I was doing I was already running after her.
To be continued...
Quick heads up to all my readers, next chapter will have some season 5 spoilers and as of the writing of this chapter that part of the manga has not been adapted into the anime yet. So just a fair warning I will only be going into what is absolutely necessary for the sake of the plot. Thank you for reading.
