"Thank you for shopping with us young lady. I do hope you were able to find what you were looking for."
"... thank you..."
I take the fancy looking box that contained the dress I had just purchased. And begin to walk out.
"Oh miss are you perhaps planning on going on a date with a dashing young man by any chance?"
"Oh uh yeah kind of it's actually a party and he invited me to go with him."
"Oh my! That's so adorable. I'm a sucker for young love you see. Or is he perhaps an older gentleman?"
"No he's actually about a year younger than me. I'm 17."
"How heart warming to see people in love at your ages."
"But dear are you okay? You seem a little down."
"I... I'm fine... I think."
I politely bowed and said good bye. As I walked back to U.A. I couldn't stop thinking about what I was told yesterday. By Tomura and All Might.
Both of them spoke with such certainty, but I'm not sure who to believe in.
When I got back home I started to get ready for the party. I showered and brushed my hair. It wasn't anything to fancy I just let my hair down instead of those two buns that I normally do. But I did use a straightener on my hair. The result was now my hair went a little bit pass my shoulders.
I was never really one for make up but I still applied a tiny bit of lip gloss and eyeliner. I also cleaned up my eyebrows but that was about it. I looked at my face in the mirror but I didn't look much different from how I usually do. I didn't feel like doing anymore just to celebrate some old teacher's birthday.
Man these dress shoes hurt. Is looking good is suppose to hurt?
Now that I think about it, what are we even going to do at the party? Please don't tell me this is just a glorified group study session.
I will cut someone up just to escape the boredom. I don't care who it is.
I put on the dress that I bought and look at my self in the mirror.
"I've never really tried to look nice before, so how do I know If I look nice or not in this?"
"Well I guess I could always just ask Deku, what he thinks when he gets here."
*knock* *knock* *knock*
"Hello Himiko it's me. If you're not ready yet I can just wait out here for you."
"Oh no it's okay I'm actually ready to go. Let me get the door for you!"
I open door with anticipation.
"Hey Deku! So what do you think? This is my first time wearing a dress and all."
"..."
"Uh Deku, did you hear me? Helloo??"
"..."
"I'm sorry did you say something, I don't think I heard you."
"You're so beautiful Himiko."
I could feel my face heat up a lot once he complimented me.
"Oh really... then I guess I must have done something right when I got dressed up."
"Do I really look that good though?"
"Absolutely, purple looks great on you."
"It's actually Royal Purple but I think that's just something that people tell themselves to boost their egos."
