It's been a couple of weeks since I've officially joined U.A. and so far I've made a lot of friends. Yeah none of them will let me taste their blood, but no one is perfect so I'll just take it for how it is. It be like that sometimes.
As for my relationship with Deku... nothing has really happened.
We haven't really done anything romantic since that day... that day when he kissed me at the festival.
And I don't know why but for some reason that bothers me a lot. I never used to get this upset at someone and not end up killing them. So I don't really know how to deal with these feelings.
Moving these thoughts to the back of my mind I head on towards the nearest supermarket to buy some things for dinner. While I'm at it I buy some tasty looking fruit juice, with a picture of a mango on it.
By the time I head back, I'm greeted by the sight of Deku waiting for me sitting in front of my doorstep.
The moment he notices me, he stands up and waves at me with his usual cute smile.
"Hey Toga, what are you up to?"
"Nothing. I just got back from the store and hey I got some of this tasty looking fruit juice. You want some?"
"Yeah sure if its not to much trouble."
I take the bottle and remove the cap, then I shove it into Deku's mouth without warning. He's a little caught off guard but happily begins to drink from the bottle once he gets hooked on the taste.
He drinks a decent amount before stopping and handing me the bottle back.
"Ah, thanks Himiko. That tasted really good. You should try some too."
I gladly take the bottle and raise it up to my mouth, then I realize something.
Wouldn't me drinking from this right after he did count as an indirect kiss? That's what Uraraka told me the other day anyways. Is this his way of kissing me without being direct? I guess Deku is shy about this whole thing as well. I guess I could go ahead and drink this in front of him then.
Plus it's not like we haven't kissed at all yet. We did kiss once. But... that was a while ago and we haven't done anything that couples usually do. Oh well I don't need to make a big deal about it.
I drink half of the remaining juice that was left over.
Then I notice that Deku suddenly turns his head and avoids eye contact with me.
"Hey Deku, is something the matter?"
"Uh no not really its just..."
"It's just what?"
I can see a light blush appear on his face.
"It's just that... in a way we kinda indirectly kissed just now... and we haven't really done anything like that since that day at the festival."
Hearing him say that out loud combined with him being bashful and shy about it made me blush a little. Now I'm acting shy and avoiding eye contact.
"Uh well yeah, I mean if either of us really wanted to we could probably just kiss directly... right Deku?"
"Uh yeah definitely, I mean if that's what you want."
"..."
I decide to be a bit bold and ask him what we both want ask.
"So... do you want to?"
"Yes! Absolutely!"
"Stupid Deku, you're not suppose to respond so excited like that! What happened to all that shyness you had just a moment ago?"
