TWO WEEKS LATER (lol these time skips are just getting bigger)

<Toby's pov>

Although I wasn't that close to Cole, I liked to think of us as good friends. That's why when, out of the blue sometime last week, he turned up to lunch with some random girl and apparently, they were dating now. Even if I wasn't that close to him, I knew Sam and Trev were, but they were just as shocked as I was.

"So, are you guys supposed to recognise her because apparently she went to your high school?" I was sat with them at lunch as of late, mainly because Cole was now busy. We sat in the corner, which had a view of most of the tables, and his was three tables to our left. He stood most times, his hands constantly on her shoulders.

"She did? I don't remember any of the girls looking like that!" What he meant was her dangling earrings, neon hair, claws and outfits that were dragged straight out of a Disney original movie. Everything about her appearance reminded me of Hannah Montana - to even the way she talked.

"You wouldn't now she's dyed her hair, started wearing contacts and jumped straight out of iCarly." I laughed at this slightly, trying to picture her in one of the episodes. "No, she used to be a brunette and she had these really thick, black glasses. I mean, she was like a more attractive version of Velma. Didn't help that orange was her staple colour either, bless her."

In the short time that I had known Sam, she was a harsh judge. She would never talk about or start rumours though, don't get me wrong. But she did have an amazing talent for being brutal in her honesty. Most people don't like it, so they tend to avoid her, but it's an admirable trait in its own way.

"Oh yeah, now you mention it, she did always have those freckles. Wait, I'm sure she asked him out back in the eleventh grade. She wasn't the only one either, pretty sure he had his own Fanclub." Trev continued to eat his chips, making sure to completely submerge each one in red sauce before putting it anywhere near his gob.

"Oh my god, yeah, I forgot about that."

"Fanclub?!" I said it a bit too loud and some of the tables, including Cole himself, turned to look at us. I got embarrassed and sunk into the table, hoping everyone would take their eyes off me soon.

"Well done moron. But yes, he had a lot of girls after him and no offence Trev," She smiles at him and places a hand on top of his, "but he is extremely fit...in an athletic sense."

"I see your point babe, but it's not just that. He also has a nice face, not to mention his hair. Have you ever felt how soft it is?" She rolls her eyes and carries on eating from his tray. "It's hard to believe he's still a virgin with the number of girls chasing after him."

"He is?" I almost spat out my drink. There wasn't anything wrong with him being a virgin but, with that many girls wanting to be with him, I would have expected he'd have something in his history.

"Yep, he's a complete cherry boy. Not that I blame him, the girls who chase him normally just like him because he's got a nice face and can give them pretty babies. It's all biology at the end of the day - who will produce the best army."

"You don't think they like him for his personality?" Surely, she was just assuming at this point.

"Nope, you watch TJ, they'll be over in another week - max." I raise my eyebrows and nod, not believing her at all.

"Hey, TJ!" Aiden was making his way over to us which was also turning into a regular occurrence. At first, Sam had a big problem with him and spent a week completely ignoring him. However, after he kept coming back and he tried his hardest to win her favor, she eventually gave in to him. Trev was the opposite and told me he respected him; something to do with the prank he played on Kai back then.
