Aang rode on Appa, they were both high in the blue clear sky. Overhead Aang could see the sun shining on the clouds, the rays of the sun didn't really bring warmth to Aang's skin. His soft fabric robes fluttered in the chilly wind, he breathed in then out; as he did the air bender saw his own foggy breath in the air. The clean winds cleared his mind, his thoughts were nothing but peaceful and calm.

This was the first time he felt calm in weeks, actually more like months. Being the Avatar wasn't so easy, he had to deal with stubborn problems, His time has been busy from meeting with generals and spending his time at his home.

Aang was eager to see the water tribe again, he missed the joyful vibes he got from there, but most of all he missed a certain water bender. His heart started to beep a bit faster as he thought of Katara, she always brought joy to Aang.

He looked at his view in front of him; he saw nothing but many clouds separate from one another, he could see bits and pieces of the blue large sea. The sun glistening over the ocean waters, smooth small waves crashed over another causing a bigger one to glide over the calm waters.

As Appa went closer to the Southern water Tribe he could feel the air getting cooler and thin, luckily Aang had his air bending technique to keep him warm and as for Appa; he had his thick warm fur.

The closer Aang was getting he was filling up with excitement, he was nervous for his return but he continued to keep his head high. A arctic breeze came along the way, he knew they were very close to the tribe and it soon gonna be very soon till he saw Katara again.

Aang smiled to himself. He couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the ride. The air bender looked over the clear water admiring the beauty in nature.

"Appa, are you excited as I am?"

Appa just let out a loud growl as his response.

"Yea. Me too Buddy. Me too."

Aang started to wonder how he was gonna waste his time at the water tribe, considering he was gonna stay there for a month. His mind started to think about Katara and Sokka.

How much have they changed over the many months that I've has been gone? How much had the Water Tribe changed? Did Katara find a husband yet? Now that she'd announced that she was looking for a husband. Wait no... she couldn't find one that quick right? Maybe she did, no Aang. Stop thinking that way.

Aang pulled himself from his own thoughts before they got to worse ideas. He reminded himself to thing on the bright side of all of this. He would all figure this out when get got at the tribe, but for now he needed to focus on getting to the water tribe.

He took ahold of Appa's reigns and lead him down, close to the ocean. Which never seemed to end, the seas went on for miles and miles. Aang could smell the fresh sent on the sea, he would admit; it wasn't the best smell but it definitely wasn't the worst.

Faint cheers could be heard from outside the large palace. Crowds gathered up from Avatar Aang's arrival. Guards stood meters away from one another, blocking out the outrageous citizens.

Appa came into many peoples views, the closer the bison came; more people noticed him, he was quite big. Avatar Aang sat on Appa's head as he tried to make himself look comfortable with the crowd. He didn't like the idea of getting cheered on. He awkwardly waved to the outrageous fans as he got off Appa.

Aang looked at his friends, the first person he noticed was none other than Katara. She was beautiful as always; her skin glowed and her smiled brightened up the whole mood. Aang was shocked to see her prettier than she was before. Not that she was ugly or anything; Aang just thought she couldn't get more attractive than she was, but he was wrong.
