"1972.. Yeah, this red one I guess", Mr. Karl told as he pointed towards the fat book in the shelf. Franklin was too eager to open the book. It took ten minutes for him to find his name there. “Mr. Karl, here it is. Here are our details",Franklin told and he smiled looking at the page. “Our names are written here- Michael Burk, Franklin Burk and Adian Burk",he sighed. “Date of joining- 26th May 1973. Relationship with the child/children is wellwisher”. Franklin chuckled. “ So, I have a wellwisher too?” “Everyone has one, son. Now go ahead”,told Mr. Karl. “Sir,there is an address here with a telephone number.” “Just a minute, I'll note it down" told Mr. Karl and he jotted the details in his small handbook. “There is a column for special identity. Woah! I've had this scar since then? Is it a part of me?”,he scoffed. “Well! Michael has a big mole in his chest and Adian had six fingers. This is pretty much informative. The wellwisher had mentioned his name as Fabian Graves.” “Contact him Frank.” “Why don't I pay a visit?” he asked. “That's better. But the place is too far from here.” “Yeah. Fort Claurs is the southern tip of switz.” “Yeah son,we should go all the way down there”,told Mr. Karl. “We?” asked Franklin with his eyebrows raised and lips broadened. “ “Yeah son. I deserve to take a day or too off right?”he sighed. “I am so happy, sir"he laughed as he hugged Mr. Karl. “There is no direct train to Fort Claurs from Mica Lauga. We must take a train to Sproutearth and then a bus, all the way to Fort Claurs ”. “Shall we leave tonight?” “Sure. Drop by at half past 8".
Franklin went to his place and packed few things for his trip, the trip to discover his wellwisher. He had lot of thoughts running in his mind. “Will I be successful to reach out my wellwisher? If we had a wellwisher, why should he leave us there. Who exactly is Fabian Graves" he kept asking himself. He had a cheese burger for dinner and packed few cup noodles for them. “Hey son. Got your things packed, huh?” “Yup,all set.” “Bon voyage!” Mr. Karl uttered aloud. He had never travelled to places, due to the lack of cash, but he always wanted to. He had a great knowledge of various places, the routes and their culture.
“I'll help you with your baggage”,he told as they started to walk. The station was a 5 minute walk from the home. “The train has arrived, son" “Let's go,Mr. Karl.” “Do you miss Adian?” Mr. Karl asked right after they made themselves comfortable. Franklin smiled. “We were great pals. Michael was too meek. He never got along with us. We used to chat, play, spill each other's beans. He taught me many great things. He used to tell his perspectives. According to him, people around him were always good. Situations and the thoughts make them bad. And what's 6 to a person is always a 9 to the opposite person. Others may not respect what we feel, but we need to live our life to our satisfaction. He spoke all these things as if he was a 70 year old man. He used to read many thoughtful wisemen sayings from the library, while I was just addicted to comics.”he smiled. Mr. Karl sighed. “If that one night hadn't been too dark, we would have been in this voyage together”he said with his eyes filled with tears.
