Narrator's POV
"Can you believe she left me for that scumbag?" Ron's face reddened with anger.
Ginny giggled, echoing the entire living room of the Burrow, Harry's arm around her shoulder.. After Fred's death, George moved out closer to his Joke Shop. It made him feel closer to Fred. The only child in the home was Ron.
Upstairs, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley slept soundly.
"Maybe you shouldn't have cheated on her," Ginny said.
Ron spat in her face, causing Harry to pull her even closer, "She should've known how lucky she was to be dating me! I'm Ron Weasley!"
Harry stood up and pushed Ron. "I'm done with your whining!"
Ron stood up and walked up to Harry. "Did you just push me?"
"Yes, I did," Harry replied, "and after what you did to Hermione, you deserve a lot more than a little push! How could you hold yourself so high? Did you forget that without Hermione, we would've" died in our first year!"
Ron stood silent, his arms crossed.
"Without her, we'd be dead!" Harry said. "So you should take yourself down from that pedestal and realize that if anything, you were the lucky one!"
"Lucky? I'm lucky? All she ever did was read and work! She never did anything for me?"
Ginny stood up. "She never did anything for you? She never missed a single one of your Quidditch games, and she doesn't even like it! She finds time to cook you your favorite meals, even with the workload she has! Despite your constant whining and ignorance, she stood by your side. She forgave you mistake after mistake, finding an excuse for everything you've done! And what have you done for her? Flirting with fans, taking other women out, cheating on her? You should be ashamed."
"At least Draco knows how to treat her right," Harry said.
"Oh yeah, and how would you know?"
"How would I know?" Harry asked. "Within four hours of dating you, Hermione had a headache. She called me and told me that you had made fun of her for being excited about her favorite author's new novel coming out. What person does that, making someone feel bad about something they're clearly excited about? And I haven't heard a single complaint about Draco."
Ron looked down.
"You know, Hermione was our friend before she was your girlfriend," Harry continued, "and I can feel that she's happier than she's been in years. She finally realized that she deserves better. She realized that you were using her like a golden ticket, and now that she's gone and happy, you've got nothing. I want you to realize that you did wrong. Cheating was wrong."
Ginny and Harry made their way to the door, but not before Ginny said one last thing.
"You are a great person, Ron. You are a great brother to me, a trustworthy friend to Harry, an amazing son to mum and dad, but you were a lousy boyfriend to Hermione."
And just like that, Ron was left alone in his thoughts.

Hermione laid asleep in Draco's arms, his hands brushing through her hair. He took in the moment, the way she looked so peaceful in her sleep, her vanilla mint scent, the fact that she was in his arms. He was holding his entire world in his hands.
She slowly stirred awake, her eyes greeting his.
"I've seriously got to go brush my teeth before I go to bed," she said, and got up.
Draco grabbed her arms and pulled her back onto the couch and hovered over her. "Or maybe we could stay up all night, build a fort, have a movie marathon, burn some calories."
"Burn calories?"
"Yeah!" Draco said. "Did you know that you can burn two to six calories per minute while kissing?"
Hermione giggled. "Sounds like a myth."
Draco smirked. "Wanna try?"
He put his lips on hers but she pushed him. "I want to build a fort."
She pushed him off and got up for blankets.
"Then we'll do it in the fort!" He yelled after her, touching his lips with his fingers.
The alarms clocked had been ignored several times, and when the two woke up, the realized the late hour.
"Oh my gosh, Draco!" Hermione yelled. "We're late for work!"
When they arrived at the office, they looked like the dead. Hermione's hair had been restored to its bushy glory, and Draco had baggy eyes.
"You go and work on the papers on your desk. I have to go deal with the office in Paris." She walked to her office. "And I expect the final printed papers to be on my desk by the end of the day!"
Hermione worked until her stomach begged her for food. Like her prayers had been answered, Draco walks in with sandwiches and juice boxes.
"I thought we could have a Ross and Rachel first date recreation," he said.
Hermine smiled. "Thank you."
Draco handed her her sandwich and leaned in. "And maybe we could also recreate what happens after."
Hermione punched his arm, blushing profusely at his suggestion. "How about we just enjoy the meal and go back to work?"
Draco smirked.

"What do you mean you couldn't do it?"
"I'm sorry," a shaken voice echoed. "She said she wanted to stay, that she'd miss him."
"So you grew a soft spot for her?" Another voice yelled. "Oh. You love her."
"Yes," the voice said.
"That makes you useless," it said. "I guess I've got to do things myself."
"What are you going to do?"
"Oh, something like 'Avada Kedavra!'"
Green lightning brightened the room and the foul air was stained by death.
"I'm coming for you, Granger."
